Please call your insurance company to verify your benefits and confirm that your insurance company is contracted with us. If your doctor feels that physical therapy is appropriate, ask your doctor for a referral. If your insurance company tells you that you do not need a referral for your physical therapy, simply call our office for an appointment.
NOTE: If this is your first appointment with OIPT, please see Getting Started before calling us. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment. Unless you are ill, if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice from the allotted time (excluding Saturday and Sunday), a $50 fee will be charged.
Beth grew up in Ohio, but now happily calls Orcas Island home. In 2009 she earned a degree in Associate of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Shawnee State University. Beth has worked for Genesis and Healthpro providing therapy in skilled nursing, and for Ohio Health Hospitals in the home-health setting.
OIPT will evaluate your foot and cast it, in preparation for the fabrication of the orthotic device. Then, we'll build a custom device in our lab for basic corrections. We'll send in to our commercial lab partner if more involved corrections are required. The final fitting is done in our office in both cases.

Last year I had right rotor cuff surgery 2017. I went to orcas Island physical Theraphy I was very charmed, by there very friendlystaff, an always welcomed as I entered the building. Very knowledgeable of all the proper recovery proceedures an answered all the questions I had and gave me a good recommendations on proper recovery. So I was able to have a faster recovery by proper exercise. No doubt in my mind I’ll be return in December of 2018 to start my recovery of left rotor cuff. I’m looking very forward to returning.
