Dr. Cox was born and raised in Valdosta, GA. He graduated from Valdosta High School and received his B.S. in Biology from Valdosta State University. After that, he attended the prestigious University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
Following that Dr. Cox completed another three years of education by receiving his Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters of Science degree from the Department of Orthodontics at UAB.Dr. Cox truly loves the orthodontic profession he has chosen and enjoys interacting with patients of all ages.

Upon your arrival for your initial consultation for orthodontic treatment, we'll orient you to our office and help you check in with our automated sign-in service. Next, we will ask some questions. These questions will help us get to know you and better understand how to address your orthodontic concerns.
Notify our office if you/the patient or a family member has signs or symptoms of respiratory illness (fever, cough, loss of taste, shortness of breath, persistent pain, pressure, or tightness in the chest). We will reschedule the appointment until you/the patient/the family member; have recovered from the illness.

Dr. Stanley Cox and his team are amazing! My son had a complex case and Dr. Cox not only did an amazing job, but according to the implant specialist, he nailed it. I appreciated the care I received as an adult needing to go back into braces! Amazing staff and team. Grateful to have such expert and precise care of my smile/teeth! Dr. Cox and the entire staff at Brookhaven Orthodontics are nothing short of amazing. I never had braces as a child so this was a new experience for me. Katy and Dr. Cox spent an hour with me going over all the xrays and pictures they took of my daughter and explained their plan of action in a way that she and I could both understand. My daughter asks about 1000 questions at every single visit, Stephanie and Dr. Cox never get frustrated or annoyed, in fact, the encourage her to ask them as many questions as her heart desires. We are just so grateful we were recommended to Brookhaven Orthodontics

We see Dr Cox and team at the Brookhaven office. I have THREE teenage daughters who have all been patients. We have three spectacular smiles, thanks to Dr Cox. He is talented, smart, kind, and funny. The customer service is amazing. Over the past 5 years we have had several orthodontic emergencies, which unfortunately always happen on weekends and holidays. I have ALWAYS been able to reach Dr Cox within a few minutes of our accidents and he has been able to talk us through what to do until we could see him next. He has met us after-hours and on weekends and holidays to ensure that we got the care

We just started with Dr. Cox and Brookhaven Orthodontics and are extremely happy. After reviewing pictures of my sons' mouth they walked up through a fairly extensive plan including spacers, expanders and braces and gave several payment options. We are always in and out quickly without having to wait long which is so important and everyone is very friendly.
