Following a major in biology, a minor in chemistry, Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, and his two-year residency in orthodontics, Dr. Gray began his exclusive practice in 1981.

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the staff. My retainer had broken off a bit and I was desperate. From the moment I called and Beverly answered I knew they were pretty awesome. Beverly was amazing and when I stepped into the office the next day, she knew who I was and greeted me. Also Adrina, Dr. Gray's assistant was amazing, very very nice.
Dr. Gray was incredible. Made me feel at ease and continuously told me they were going to help me with my retainer. This whole staff felt like family. Im so happy I came here!!! THANK YOU ALL!! Lori

Well this is a review I’ve been needing to post, for many, many years. I have known (and been treated by) Dr Gray and his staff for about 15 years now. Unfortunately, yes, that means I’ve had a complicated journey of 15 years of orthodontic work, but it also means that I’ve been fortunate in the sense that at around 7 years old, I walked into the arms of this phenomenal group of people and they’ve been with me ever since. I recently began the process of finding an orthodontist practice for my daughter. I never had braces and she's an only child so we're completely new to the industry. Braces are a big commitment. It's important that we make the best choice for our family and as such, I'm shopping around, interviewing and learning as much as I can.... Chesapeake dental Specialist was recommended to me by another Dentist office and I can truly say I really appreciate the recommendation. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. My experience with Dr. Gray and his staff was life changing. He transformed my appearance and sculpted the proper bite that I never had. He identified how and what orthodontics would accomplish for my open bite, and then partnered with my jaw surgeon at Emory as a DREAM TEAM to create a brand new smile and bite that is everything I hoped for. Because of his skill, over the months I watched the lower half of my face literally transform into a smile and profile that I am extremely proud of.
