I usually don’t write reviews... especially bad ones... but I felt like this one was necessary. Keep in mind, this review is coming from someone who currently works for a dentist and has worked in the dental field for many years. Point blank - this doctor is ripping people off. I came in to see if my 8 year old retainer was still in good shape and to potentially get a new one. When I met the doctor he told me that my current retainer is perfect - and then proceeded to tighten the wire (which took no more than 30seconds). When I got to the front desk, I was told that it would be a $125 fee. I

I was extremely pleased with the service and professionalism Dr. Getchell and his awesome Northside Orthodontics team provided my daughter through her entire ortho experience. Dr. Getchell was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining the plan he recommended for my daughter, which obviously made us feel even more comfortable in moving forward. Once my daughter's braces came off here recently, it was evident Dr. Getchell's plan was executed without a flaw, and my daughter was extremely excited on how awesome and straight her teeth were. Dr. Getchell and his team are truly outstanding. Everyone we have interacted with has been highly skilled, professional, and super friendly. Phenomenal orthodontic office. Really! They are so fast, efficient, and thorough. I have never even gotten a chance to finish surfing on the web or reading an article before my kids are done and ready to go. Gretchen is awesome. And Dr. Getchell keeps everything simple and explains everything in an easy to understand manner.
If only all businesses or doctors offices were this well run! I only have good things to say, honestly.

Dr. Getchell and his staff are among the very best in Atlanta. He did an outstanding job with straightening both of my children's teeth and they loved going to his office. Prices are very reasonable, and he will NOT put on braces before they are truly ready for the process. Definitely come in for an evaluation and see for yourself!

Oh wow...I just received my before and after pictures and I can say I have really changed...I started treatment four months after my 12th birthday...I entered high school this semester and luckily for me my braces were removed the first week of school.
