Our eyes need tears to nourish, sustain and lubricate our eyes. DES, which is usually caused by insufficient tears or poor quality tears, leaves our eyes parched. This results in a variety of unpleasant symptoms, such as itchy, red, and sore eyes. Many people suffer from this chronic syndrome without realizing that it can permanently harm their eyes.
Our eye care center in Lancaster County offers a full range of eye health services to clients of all ages, from children to older adults: routine eye exams and vision tests, eye disease diagnosis and management, and more.

Dr. Katherine Collins of Kissel Eye Care should not be caring for any pediatric patients. She completely mismanaged my daughter’s eye condition. Thankfully both my husband and I work in healthcare and realized when she couldn’t fully answer my questions that something seemed off. We were lucky enough to find a pediatric ophthalmologist for a second opinion. Her treatment plan was not research based, my daughter’s eye prescription was completely wrong, and Dr. Collins had no plan for follow up. Following her plan could have called progressive, irreversible vision loss for my daughter. I encourage
