Welcome to the official website of Weaver Eye Care Associates, established in 2011 by Dr. Brendon J. Weaver. Dr. Weaver is an eye doctor offering complete eye care services for children and adults, including medical, vision and emergency eye exams. Dr. Weaver manages glaucoma, dry eye disease, ocular allergy and red eye cases, as well as co-manages LASIK and cataract patients.
In addition to professional services, the in-house optical department offers contact lenses and an assortment of over 600 eyeglasses and sunglasses. Dr. Weaver has been providing eye examinations for residents of Berks County since 2004. The office is located in the Blue Mountain Professional Center building, approximately 1 mile north of Bernville on Rt. 183, across the street from Boyer's Food Market.

Mission Statement: The Dry Eye Center of Berks County is dedicated to 1) the treatment of patients living in Berks County and the surrounding areas suffering from dry eye and ocular surface disease, 2) increase the quality of life of those suffering from these conditions, and 3) use state-of-the-art technology to diagnose and successfully manage dry eye disease.
Vision is paramount in a young child's life. Any issues with vision, focusing or eye tracking abilities can directly cause reading and/or learning disabilities. Many times serious vision problems can go undetected without a proper, comprehensive eye examination. Dr. Weaver understands the critical nature of an early child's vision development and the importance of annual eye examinations for children of all ages.
Dr. Weaver especially enjoys fitting patients with contact lenses. He loves seeing his patients' excitement when they first experience the freedom of great vision while not wearing glasses. One common misconception about contact lenses is that a person is too young/old to wear contacts. There are so many healthy contact lenses options out there that age is not a limitation.

Dr. Weaver advocates eye protection from UV exposure, which has been shown to accelerate cataract formation, macular degeneration progression and eyelid disease in certain studies. For those blessed with perfect vision or for those who wear contact lenses while spending time outdoors, Dr. Weaver recommends non-prescription polarized sunglasses with UV protection to safeguard your eyes from the sun.

This was the first time my Husband and I visited Weaver Eye Care Associates. Dr. Weaver was thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and spent time answering our many questions. He took the time needed to help us pick the perfect pair of glasses and the entire time he made us feel welcome and relaxed. We didn't feel like we were being rushed or hurried… along in the process and I know he had a busy schedule. Thank you for being one of the hard to find kind of Doctor who understands the importance of quality time and care, that goes a long way. We will be back

Weaver Eye Care amazing!! I had seen another Dr in Berks in the past, and they just couldn’t find the right prescription for my contacts. After a lot of headaches and frustration, Dr Weaver got it right on the first try!! I was SO thankful!! Just simply top notch. The office/practice as a whole is very accommodating and professional. Definitely recommend!!

For years I had gone to the same eye doctor. Always leaving feeling like I paid too much and never getting what I wanted. Finally, someone referred me to Dr. Weaver. Dr. Weaver took the time to not only talk to me about what I wanted, but he, himself, helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses! He also understood I struggled for years with contacts and he helped me with the perfect type of contacts and taught me different ways to put them in. My husband and I have been patients of Dr Weaver since he opened. Actually, we followed him from his previous practice. He treats you like a friend or family member. So you know that you are getting the best care. His selection of eyewear is current and fashionable. We wouldn’t dream of seeing a different doctor for our eye care.
