Services
David Silbert, MD, FAAP and his team have traveled to several different international locations on medical missions, including sites in Columbia, Ecuador, and Honduras. On these missions the team provides eye care to children who might otherwise never have their vision screened. This year's medical mission took us through out the valley of fire - traveling between all 6 major volcanoes in Ecuador and adventuring wildly close to the Amazon.
Conestoga Eye is a workplace where smart, talented people can bring their whole self to work. We believe in meaningful collaboration: empowering all team members to innovate and succeed. At Conestoga Eye we are dedicated to changing the way we provide care. Your visit will be a warm and welcoming experience.
Botox is the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment in America. It is a highly purified, naturally occurring protein, which has the ability to very precisely relax the muscles to which it is applied. This reduces severe lines between the eyes and forehead, crow's feet and bunny lines. Special attention is given to honor each patient's natural expression and features.
Patient history helps to determine any symptoms you are experiencing and can be critical in diagnosing any issues you may be having. Visual acuity measurements evaluate how clearly each eye is seeing. As part of the testing, you are asked to read letters on distance and near reading charts.
Refraction is conducted to determine the appropriate lens power needed to compensate for any refractive error (nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism). This testing will look for problems that keep your eyes from focusing effectively or make using both eyes together difficult. This testing can include Keratometry, an Eye Health Evaluation, depth perception and color vision, etc.

Ptosis or droopy eyelid, also known as Blepharoptosis, is when your eyelid margin sits lower than normal. In general, this means your upper lid covers 1-2 mm of the cornea. In Ptosis, the lid often rests over the top part of the pupil and obstructs vision. Most cases of acquired ptosis (ptosis which is developed over time, not ptosis you are born with) result from stretching or disinsertion of the attachment of the levator muscle.

My 3-year-old daughter has been coming to Conestoga Eye for almost two years now, through all of Covid, due to a wandering eye. I’d been very satisfied with her care here until today.
Both her mom and I have always been allowed to be present in the room during her visit, even through the worst Covid strains (alpha, delta, etc.). Today, however, when the tech came to retrieve her, she told us “The room is very small, so we’re only allowing one parent to come back with us.”
I replied both of us had always been allowed in for all her past appointments, to which she replied “Well, with

I had my eye lids done, the Dr. was so good you can even see any scars! I would recommend Conestoga to anyone considering face surgery. The Dr. even corrected my dropping eye brow. I had no complications after surgery and I look so much younger without my eyelids dropping over my lashes. My lashes are now growing back. Thank you Conestoga!

Arrived early after pulling my child from school early for a follow up visit. Was seen by 2 different people, had his eyes dilated, read letters on the screen a couple times. After 2 hours in the office with my 8 year old watching others come and go and sitting in the side waiting room twice, I assumed they weren't as interested in my business as they were with the other patients. We left without seeing the Dr. We'll go somewhere else next time. Reply as you wish, but your office in my opinion is inefficient, and expecting a child to sit that long is unreasonable.

I had gone to Conestoga Eye for the annual eye exam to get my power checked to order contacts and glasses. This simple ask was complicated to the highest degree with the team at Conestoga unnecessarily adding on various other tests without sharing with me why they were needed when I came for a ten min eye power check.
They ended up dialating my pupils when there was no issue and I had not asked for it and the dilation had very bad side effects. I couldn't see for the next two hours and had a headache for the next 12 hours all evening and night.
Not sure what their motivation was to do this without

Update: 11/23/21
I had my surgery 2 weeks ago and I just had my stitches removed yesterday. I’m thrilled with the results and the great care I have had from every staff member I have interacted with.
While I’m upset that I developed inflammation on the eyeball itself a week after surgery, this couldn’t of been anticipated or avoided. When my issue arose they got me in right away to see Dr. Silbert and he continues to work closely with me to resolve this. I am grateful to be in good hands with such a great dr. and his wonderful support team.

I just had a surgical procedure done at Conestoga Eye and I recommend Dr. David Silbert and his staff. My procedure was done right at their office and everyone that worked with me was very friendly, caring and interested in my wellbeing. Dr. Silbert is a skilled doctor as is his support staff, and you can tell they enjoy working there and making a difference. Dr. Silbert’s follow up was great too.

Had an excellent experience here. First of all the staff is wonderful with dealing with you durning this COVID 19 outbreak, very courteous and friendly. Dr. Seigal, she herself is wonderful! Explained everything on how my surgery would go and after care. She is friendly, listened to my problems and explained how she can correct it in detail. Made me feel better about my upcoming surgery.

Dr Silbert is an experienced and professional surgeon of the highest caliber. He treated me as a “whole” person. Mentally, physically, spiritually, socially and emotionally. Not just an eyeball. He and his staff are friendly and professional while being understanding human beings. I cannot say enough to be able to completely express my gratitude to all of them for their exceptional care both pre and post operative.

This place does not even deserve one star. The doctor and staff are very unprofessional. Dr. Silbert did not even introduce himself to me when he entered the room, make eye contact with me, or even speak to me directly. He also never washed his hands when entering the room, or when he left the room. I had to ask him to wash his hands before he began the examination. Due to COVID-19, finances have been tight and I was not able to pay my bill in full right away. I received threatening letters that I would be sent to collections if they did not receive my full payment by a certain date. I was able

I wouldn't even give this place a star. I went to an eye appointment with my mom. We had to wait 3 hours to be seen. Dr. David Silbert did my moms eye lid surgery and did a horrible job. The stitching was the worst i have ever seen and she still has horrible scaring. Go to a professional instead of him.
