Dr. Lina Kulkarni Politano is proud to be creating beautiful smiles at Kulkarni Orthodontics in her hometown of Lakewood. After residency, Dr. Kulkarni was excited to return to Colorado and serve her community. She considered purchasing an existing orthodontic practice or partnering with another orthodontist.
We never want costs to stand in the way of quality treatment, which is why we are dedicated to providing our patients with care that is both effective and affordable. Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered.
An orthodontist is a dentist who has completed an American Dental Association accredited graduate program in the specialty of orthodontics. A dentist who graduates from a specialty program becomes an orthodontic specialist who is eligible to become board certified through the voluntary examination process of The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).

Our experience at Kulkarni Orthodontics was excellent. Dr. Kulkarni's expertise is unmatched in the Lakewood area. She was thorough and meticulous with our son's treatment and he has a beautiful smile to show for it! She and her staff are very friendly and helpful and make everyone feel welcome and important.

Dr. Kulkarni and all of her staff are so friendly and welcoming. They do a great job of helping my girls feel at ease with any procedure being done. Rachel and the reception staff are great!! Costs are reasonable and I love that everything is included, instead of feeling like I’m being nickel and dimes on every visit! Thank you!

Our three daughters have come to Kulkarni Orthodontics for their braces. We are finishing up the last set of braces and have nothing but praise for the care we have received. Dr. Kulkarni is thorough and professional as well as kind and caring. I would highly recommend this practice. From the facility to the staff, Kulkarni Orthodontics is top notch!

I am a 28 year old and it is my 2nd time in my life having braces. I just wanted to pick someone that would do a good, thorough job, so I wouldn’t ever have to get braces again. I ended up picking Dr Kulkarni because I thought she had good reviews on google and the Cigna website. I live in Denver & work in Westminster so Lakewood is a bit of a drive. Honestly, it was worth it. During my consultation the Dr. estimated I would have my metal braces on for 8-10 months. I got them off just under 7 months. Dr. Kulkarni is the best! Her entire staff is very friendly and professional. My Invisalign treatment turned out great even with COVID causing certain appointments to be cancelled. The staff at Kulkarni Orthodontist were on top of getting me rescheduled and keeping the facility clean. Overall I give the services a 5star.

I visited Dr. Kulkarni for help with a cemented retainer I had placed by my childhood orthodontist back in Michigan. From emailing with me personally all the way through my consultation and eventually yanking a hunk of metal out of my mouth, Dr. K and her staff were great. Highly recommend.
Edited to add: I only had two appointments with Dr. K, one to remove a cemented retainer and one to pick up my new removable retainer. I found myself wishing I had more treatment to do so I could come back! Overall great experience.
