The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) is working to support providers, families, and communities as quickly as possible. EEC will ensure programs have the information they need to prepare for reopening. Every program chooses their own timeline for reopening. Please look for additional information on the Department of Early Education and Care website and in CCFA.
If your child is enrolled in subsidized care (has a voucher), your child will still be eligible for care once all programs reopen. The temporary closure of all child care programs will not impact any eligibility for care. EEC paid for all child care subsidies during the closure in order to provide needed revenue to help child care providers so they can continue to operate and not close.

Child Care Choices of Boston (CCCB) is the Child Care Resource and Referral Agency (CCRA) for Boston, Brookline, Chelsea, Cambridge, Revere, Somerville and Winthrop. As a CCRA, Child Care Choices of Boston provides and maintains a key role in making child care work for everyone, regardless of cultural, linguistic or ethnic background.
Child Care Choices of Boston (CCCB) serves as the Child Care Resource and Referral Agency for Boston, Brookline, Chelsea, Cambridge, Revere, Somerville and Winthrop. CCCB plays a key role in making child care work for everyone by providing support, resources, technical assistance and training to a diverse community of families, child care providers, employers and businesses in the greater Boston area.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness
I have been calling for weeks to make sure my voucher is renewed on time. I sent in all my paperwork and still no response and my voucher ends Friday. Received an email stating I had an appointment yesterday but it was a holiday. Called and no one has answers. i can't afford not to go to work.

This is the most unprofessional business. The woman by the name of Anselma was the most unprofessional, insensitive person I’ve ever dealt with. Encouraged me to do fraud and apply for welfare in order for her to help. When I explained that I did not feel comfortable lying to the state for services she began to make assumptions and talk down to me about a situation she never even took time to ask about. This is a state funded program and should not have crooks working in their business, encouraging benefit fraud. Someone must do something about this and investigate. Have reported this company

I’ve been waiting since June 2nd for a voucher. I was referred by my case manager to get a voucher. It’s now July 22nd and I still have no voucher. I called them and asked them the status of my voucher, they told me to call 211 to place myself on the waiting list which made no sense because I had a referral which means I do not need to be placed on any waiting list. It took them almost 2 months to send me documents to fill out. I filledthem out right away and didn’t hear back from them. I called them and they told me my ID is too dark. The woman in charge of my zip code is IMPOSSIBLE to reach. She doesn't answer her phone or respond back to any emails or messages. I need to have a copy of my child voucher sent to his new program that he starts in 3 DAYS, and I've been trying to contact Monica Tejada for months! I even left messages with the receptionist and she's taken my info. She is well aware of the situation and now 3 days before my son starts school she wants to tell me the steps I have to take for this to happen!!! WHY COULDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS BEFORE!! STRESS!!!

Lan was THE BEST worker I've had! But since they switched her S. End/Fenway/Cambridge needs a new worker ASAP! The current one is constantly late has tried (and failed) to deny my voucher without cause multiple times. Never apologies for ANYTHING all but insulted my daughter, and called me a liar, THE WORKS! I've tried to report her but everyone covers each other's tracks. I've had ok service in the past and an grateful for the assistance but that doesn't mean unprofessional behavior is acceptable.

The worst freaking place to receive services in time of need. Worst lighting in building. Service people can't even spell service. No answers on the phone. Very exhausting and depression to go to in the downtown Boston area. Funded by Why. We have a right to speak up tax payers or not the children's development should be more than fair. Equality in Education. Make it better.
