Goodness Gracious is a private chef and catering service that goes beyond the kitchen and the tabletop and into the land-where unique experiences beckon as a way to discover the most authentic parts of Wine Country. We believe in the power of community, connection and good food to spread joy, tolerance and kindness.
Here in Wine Country, we're all about a 'good time', and always with food and wine! Would you like to have some friends over for an epic dinner party but don't want to do the planning, shopping, prep, and clean-up? Have family coming into town and you'd like to try something different than the restaurants you've already been to?
Experience Wine Country the way the way locals do-by discovering organic farms and food, hidden-gem wineries, secret hikes, exclusive experiences with a winemaker, a private yoga class, or a cooking class. We want you to leave already wanting to come back, so in addition to our catering services, we're also Sonoma County Certified Tourism Ambassadors and provide complimentary concierge services to anyone who asks.

We welcome you to step into proprietor Lauren Kershner's reimagination of a victorian parlour which features inspirations from her world travels, three distinct lounges, 30 foot vaulted ceilings, three cascading decks along Sonoma Creek, live piano, and her open kitchen with long concrete slab bar.

My family rented a home in Healdsburg for the holidays and we surprised my parents with a private dinner one evening. Everything was spectacular from the ease of booking online to the table decor and best of all the service and food! It was really nice to relax and enjoy as Lauren and Kenny handled the rest. I would highly recommend Goodness Gracious to anyone looking for a similar experience and will definitely use them again if we have the opportunity!

Goodness Gracious was a beautiful experience! Lauren and Paloma were easy to work with and very efficient! They worked hard and were very flexible with dietary needs. We celebrated my moms birthday and this was a special way to complete the day. The food and wine were excellent and paired well together. I would 100% recommend this experience!!

Lauren and her staff were a dream come true. The meals were unforgettable and one of the highlights of our trip! We hired her for several breakfasts, packed lunches, and a special milestone birthday dinner. We were all blown away and would hire her again in a heartbeat. Each dish was delicious, every plate was devoured. Thank you for making this trip so special! I’m still dreaming about several of the meals!

Goodness Gracious is appropriate, the experience is one certainly worth raving about. Chef Ann and assistant Hawk were amazing!
From the inception all the way through planning, confirmation and execution of our culinary event has been a positive and quite memorable experience. We were absolutely thrilled with our experience with Lauren at Goodness Gracious! We hired her and her team for a small wedding in Sonoma at a private residence (26 people), and the food was absolutely incredible. We also had some complicated food requests (kosher, gluten free, dairy free), which required a lot of prep work in advance, and Lauren was very accommodating and very organized. Prices were also very reasonable. We also added the craft cocktail bar, and it was such a hit. Would highly recommend hiring her!

Chef Lauren and her team know good food and what it takes to make an event come together. We worked together on my rehearsal dinner for 15 in May and the reception for 93 in Sept and both events were outstanding. The quality of the food cannot be beat - and I am picky! The craft cocktails, the cheese board, the mini desserts, the place settings - all amazing too!
