STARS Preschool has been serving children and families throughout Sonoma County and the Russian River since 1996. We have four preschools and one infant/toddler program in Sonoma County that offer both full and half day school for both subsidized and private pay families. The STARS Preschool philosophy stems from the belief that children and families have the right to nurturing, safe and age-appropriate care and supervision.

This location is licensed for 24 children, ages 2 to entry into 1st grade and offers both full day and half day preschool. Our full day program is open year round and the half day program is open August through June. We have positions available for both subsidized children and families who qualify as well as care for private pay families.

STARS Preschool- Monte Rio opened in 1996 and is located on the Monte Rio Union District Campus. STARS Preschool- Monte Rio is licensed for 24 children ages 2 to 5. This location provides both full day and half day care. Hours of operation are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. STARS Preschool- Monte Rio follows the Elementary School's schedule and provides care August through June.
