I was visiting Memphis and ended up needing glasses. I decided to give this place a try and really enjoyed my experience! The place is clean and well-organized, and the staff was prompt and professional. Dr. Johnson was very knowledgeable and thorough when explaining my issues. They also promptly shipped my glasses to my home and gave me a call before so I knew to look out for it. I'm so glad they took care of me!

I actually love all of the Doctor's that work here, and I think I have had an exam with each of them. My issue, and always has been, with the staff that works out front. It takes FOREVER to order mine or my childrens glasses every year. Mine are never right when I pick them up and always take longer than promised. In 2016 I came in multiple times to get my glasses adjusted because they were too loose and the same girl made them looser every time. I finally gave up and wore glasses that were too big for years. EVERY time I sit down to order glasses they automatically put in the most expensive lenses

Best selection of frames in the city. If you have a great eye care insurance policy, this is your location for the best selection of designer frames in both sunglasses and prescription eyewear. I've checked several other locations in town just to be sure I didn't miss anything. So far, no additional winners in style & selection. Friendly helpful staff and state of the art eye care.

This is centrally located and I can always get an appointment at a time that suits my schedule. I like the staff and the quaint atmosphere. I have seen both optometrists, Dr. Nguyen & Johnson. They both have great bedside manner and explain things in a way that makes sense.
More than anything they are ensuring that I have healthy eyes. Sounds like a no brainer, I know. But, I have been places that don't really perform in depth tests like they do. You know you are getting optimal care here.

Service has actually been very good here. Very friendly staff and great selection. However, I spent $800 on lenses and was told it included a 1 year scratch warranty/guarantee. Unfortunately, when I went to use the warranty, was told it would cost $25 and then no more warranty. Basically you get 1 replacement. That's fine, but those details should be disclosed during the purchase. And perhaps I should have asked, however warranty/guarantee details should be disclosed. Definitely makes me question the quality/integrity of the lenses, as they are scratched after 3 months. Only cleaning with

The entire experience at the Eyewear Gallery was very refreshing. There was virtually no wait. Imagine that. Dr. Nguyen and his whole team are great, and I am happy I decided to get an eye exam at the Eyewear Gallery. Throughout the exam process, Dr. Nguyen and his assistant explain everything in detail. I have not worn glasses in years, and blah blah blah the sales associate made the process of picking out frames comfortable. I am sure I will return in the future and purchase a second pair of glasses that is more in the Swifty Lazar style, L-A-R-G-E.

Our forever Doc was so kind & caring about options & did not pressure but simply informed. As a customer of Eyewear Gallery for several years, I have experienced nothing less than superb service and support from the entire staff. They have wide selection of high quality frames and lenses, and very helpful during the fitting. Recently, after undergoing eye surgery, my vision changed dramatically. After a thorough exam with Dr. Johnson and a prescription change, my sight is as good as ever. The staff is always professional and courteous. In my humble opinion, you are not going to find a better eye clinic in Memphis!

I came to this location to purchase frames/lens because they are "in network" with my provider. I understand sometimes staff can be busy but staff should NEVER be to busy to greet customers. I never like to add ethnic background to the occasion but some times it's hard to ignore. I entered this location and NO one greeted me. An Indian guy entered literally two minutes after me and the reception staff projected their voice to greet and assist him. I should have know by the mostly Caucasian customer population it would be this way but I figured by the multi-cultural reception staff

I thought after using less expensive eyewear clinics that I would try somewhere nicer this time. I don't expect everyone to be perfect. When a company asks for my money up front I have a higher standard. I was promised my glasses by a Friday. It was only after I called to check on them that Friday did they check on my order. They told me they could have them there the next day Saturday for a $20 expedited fee. Well, you promised them to me on Friday and now you're asking for more money on top of the $428 I shouldn't have had to pay in full to begin with until I was happy

Still one of the best in Memphis for designer glasses! I have been coming to this place for 8 years, twice a year, as I have multiple eye issues. I have always had a wonderful experience here! They have a great selection of eyewear and I always receive compliments regarding how good my new glasses look on me. In addition, if I bend my designer frames, they always service them quickly for me and never charge a fee. My highest recommendation.

My 91-year-old mother patronized this business on the advice of her very reputable opthalmologist. The treatment she received was shameful! First off, the doctor in charge of her refraction was rude and dismissive. After her new frames and lenses were ordered she realized they charged her for hundreds of dollars in add-ons without offering her the option to decline them (polycarbonate lenses, antiglare coating and other things she was not informed of and did not agree to). She is on Medicare, so I guess they thought they'd just hurriedly cram in every high margin option and fleece the system

The exam and assistance choosing my new frames was thorough and friendly, but the prices are outrageously high, even with the knowledge that high-end brand names were what they offer. There is some pressure from the sales staff to go for the most expensive frames and add-ons. I do not mind paying for quality, but the non-scratch coating I paid extra for is already chipping off and I have not had my glasses 6 months yet (and yes, I am cleaning my glasses the way you are supposed to). I went into Eyewear Gallery on Dec. 2014 to purchase glasses for myself. In addition I had viewed and printed their Trade in Glasses promotional for trading in your old glasses and receiving $50 toward a new purchase. Based on their promotional it seemed as if they were sincerely concerned about the number 1 cause of blindness in the world and assisting several entities, however they can't be. Although on the printed copies it claims some exclusions apply however the exclusions were not listed to confirm. The sales rep stated that they could not honor because I have insurance, I frowned

Recently I got a pair of glasses from this office and could not be happier. The office has state of the art equipment and the staff here are friendly and very helpful. Dr. Do Nguyen took his time to answer all my questions. The quality of care and attention given to each individual patient here is something you won't get when you buy your glasses on the internet. I found a pair of glasses that I liked on their website for $231. I went in the store to see how they fit/looked and to probably purchase. When I got there and found the frames the saleslady said they were $489. When I brought it to her attention about the website she didn't believe me until I told her to go on their site to check. When she saw it she didn't know what to say so she went in the back to ask the owner.
