Meet the experienced and friendly staff who make Optometry Group, PLLC the leading provider of vision care products and services in Memphis. Keren, a native of Germantown, Tennessee, joined our practice in 2017. She graduated from Houston High School. Keren earned her bachelor's degree in Organization Management from Bethel University.
Our optical offers a large selection of eyeglasses, designer frames and sunglasses. We carry the latest European and American designer eyewear collections in a variety of styles, colors and materials including titanium, stainless steel and plastic. These include disposable soft contact, bifocal/multifocal, toric, and colored lenses. Whether you wear daily, weekly or monthly disposables, or conventional (vial) lenses, check out our selection of lenses at Optometry Group. Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, we accept a number of insurance plans to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs. My husband and I have been patients here for over 12 years and my son has been going since he was 3 and is now 11 (even though it's a 45 minute drive each way for us.) We couldn't be happier with an eye care provider. We typically see Dr Hines, however among the 3 of us, we've seen all the docs at least once when we've had to reschedule or had an urgent matter come up. We've always been happy with our visits. The attention to detail they show during the exams is unmatched and the staff all works with a high level of professionalism. Their frame selection is HUGE and we all have a great time picking

The Optometry Group has done it again!!! Awesomeness overload!!!! All I can say is that, the ENTIRE STAFF is amazing! My 2nd visit, I had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer and she was super friendly and helpful. Although my issue was minor, she went above and beyond to make sure she checked everything to rule out that my medication was not causing my problem. And as always Dr. Hines was the BEST!! I look forward to my next visit!!!

I have been going to Optometry Group for all of my eyecare needs for years! They are always quick and professional. Always professional and the staff was so helpful when it came to picking out my new glasses. They didn’t rush me, they really listened to what I was looking for when it came to frames and were great. The doctors were fun and helpful and gave me updated information on new contact brands how my vision had changed and which would work best. I sleep in my contacts and I wear them for months. Many times I feel judged by my optometrist when I tell them but instead they suggest the best brand for the way I wear my lenses.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hines for many years. I was referred to him by a family member when my former optometrist retired. I know I receive the best of care. The Optometry Group employs qualified and friendly staff, state of the art equipment and an on sight dispensary with a wide selection of frames. The opticians are very helpful in assisting one choose the most flattering frames while being very knowledgeable of what is covered by one's eye care coverage. The office is a bright, cheerful and comfortable place.

I have been going to the Optometry Group for almost 20 years and there is not one experience I could rate with less than 5 stars! The wait is never beyond an appointment time, the staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the doctors are THE best. I can't say enough great things about this group I will highly recommend them to anyone.

I highly recommend the Optometry Group. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the doctors give you the information you need to make informed decisions, they have a nice selection of frames and lens options, and they are always right when they estimate the time it will take to get your glasses. I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for my appointment. Great group.

I selected this office because of location but their excellent staff of doctors is worth a drive from anywhere in the city. I have been in for emergencies, new prescriptions, routine check ups. Continually impressed with the friendliness, professionalism, efficiency and patience of this wonderful group. It has always been above and beyond. The front desk is fantastic too. Very helpful. They are very gracious and kind.

I've been to several optometrists in Memphis over the years and this one is my favorite and the one I intend to stick with. What makes it the best are the people who work there. They've always been friendly, welcoming, and focused -- unlike many other such offices in Memphis which are staffed with inner-city-style surly laziness.
The location is convenient and safe with plentiful parking. The hours are very convenient as they are open on Saturdays. The interior is warm and welcoming yet modern and updated.

Well above all else I must start with this: I was a new patient here on my visit and they saw me ON TIME. Most offices have a nurse/tech come moseying out 20 minutes after your scheduled appointment. Not here...
Once I was called back I had the most fun I have ever had at an eye doctor. I've been wearing them longer than I haven't, so I've been to my fair share. The conversation with the technician running my tests was so nice we forgot that we were supposed to be doing tests. When Dr. Hines walked in, his personality was even more delightful! He's very personable and communicative

If you go to any other optometrist you should be committed. I have seen Dr. Tacker and Dr. Nance over 10+ years and know that you cannot go wrong with either. They are courteous and kind, asking questions about your eyes and overall health, showing interest in you as a person. The sales staff members are very knowledgable about fit and comfort of glasses. They will even tell you whether a pair looks good on you! The front desk was very welcoming and was ready to help me begin my appointment. I am very happy with my glasses and will continue going to Optometry Group for years to come.

These guys are always great with my high maintenance scheduling requests, and I haven't experienced anyone over the past three years who wasn't courteous and kind. Dr. Tacker is the real deal. He cares about patients and takes the time to go through the necessary tests, but also takes the time to listen and ask questions about eyesight and overall health. Also, they don't dilate your eyes.

I've been going here ever since I've been going to the eye doctor...I'm 28 so ummm maybe 20 years?
Anyways, Dr. Tacker is awesome and always friendly. I love their selection of glasses and I always walk away with very cool prescription designer shades. They carry Prada, Kate Spade, and Tory Burch among others.
The space is nice, spacious and most importantly clean. They definitely keep up with everything!
Minus one star because the women who work the reception desk are not very friendly...which I don't understand because everyone else is so nice! The doctors, the assistants

This group of optometrists is very professionally managed, and efficient. Once your name is called, you encounter helpful, friendly assistants who perform their range of tests before seeing the doctor.
My optometrist is Dr. Nance, who has been my optometrist for about 15 years. He is very capable and knowledgeable. Once you finish, they have a large selection of frames, including the latest designer frames, and the sales people are also knowledgeable and helpful as you select the frames you need.
My only suggestion is for improvement at the check-in desk. They are not friendly.
