You might find it interesting to know that Radon is not a new discovery. Radon is a gaseous highly radioactive element discovered by English physicist Ernest Rutherford in 1899 and Friedrich Ernst Dorn, a German chemist, in 1900. Elevated levels of radon in homes were not recognized as a potential public health threat until the mid-1980's.
Congress passed the National Manufactured Housing Improvement Act of 2000 which requires each state to develop a manufactured housing installation program which accounts for the type of foundation needed. We have partnered with MFD Housing Certifications US LLC to be able to provide these engineer certifications.

I would absolutely recommend Chris to do home inspections for anyone. I was able to contact Chris on a Monday and had a appointment for a inspection to be done on Wednesday. I was very pleased with my detailed report that I have gotten from him and it explained everything and had pictures to back everything up.

Firm Foundation was recommended to me when I moved into the area. Because of the quality of work, I chose to use them the 2nd time. I hope not to buy another house for a long, long time, but if I do, I’ll call Firm Foundation for my home inspection. Chris does what he says he will do. He’s reliable and professional and knows his business. I would recommend him to anyone.
