Jiu Jitsu's humble origins are from the country of Japan. The direct translation of jiu jitsu is "the gentle art". As a student at All-American Jiu Jitsu, one learns and utilizes techniques which aid in overcoming the inherent advantages of size and strength. Implementing these techniques creates strategic advantages between an opponent and oneself.
Our staff strives to engrain every student of our principles of technique, biomechanics and leverage which we believe increases advantages over other opponents. Absolutely nothing but good experiences at this gym! I started coming to this gym in 2016, mainly to get back into shape but I gained a second family! Everyone is super welcoming and very precise when it comes to the actual classes! Professor Chung makes it a fun and welcoming environment! I started taking my niece to the kid’s jiu jitsu class and she won’t stop talking about class when we’re home! Definitely recommend coming to this gym!

I've been bringing my 7 and 5 year old here since they were 4 years old. Both went in kicking and screaming because they were scared. All the coaches are great with kids and incredibly patient. Now they run into their classes excited and eager to learn and tumble around with their peers.
The classes are mon-thurs at 6pm so it's great for parents who work. The time is perfect for Tiring out the kids before bedtime. Some fathers take classes also, it seems like a great way to bond with your kids.

My 7 and 5 year old have been coming here since they were 4. This gym is extremely welcoming towards people of all ages and levels. I’ve seen many children (including my own) come in crying then thrive after a couple sessions. All the coaches are kind and patient with students and you can sense their passion for the sport. The class times for kids is Mon-Thurs 6pm so it’s great for working parents.
The exercises are exhausting and my kids always come out of class sweaty and ready for a bath and their bed.
This is not only our main gym for the kids, but they have become like our extended jiu

I was very hesitant to go to any martial arts gym as I have never done any type of activity related to martial arts. I was intimidated and afraid that I would feel lost and out of my league. However, after attending my first class, I realized just how wrong I was.
The instructors were very helpful and encouraging. They encourage learning proper technique at your own pace rather than expecting you to keep pace with the more advanced members. It was clear that the instructors were all very knowledgeable and that they truly enjoyed teaching. They take time to ensure that everyone is getting

Ive been to alot of different Jiu jitsu schools in Southern California and All American Jiu Jitsu is the best one ive found and the one i decided to stick with. The energy and vibe of the school was friendly and welcoming right from when i entered. The coaches are well trained and understanding and will take the time with you individually and make sure you do the technique correctly. Best jiu jitsu school hands down

Awesome family environment for the kids. My 4 year old enjoys going to the gym daily. All the coaches provide great training for the kids, a good work out while teaching them discipline and respect for others.
Coach Mike, Harry and Arthur are all great guys. I decided to sign up myself. I only wish they trained through the weekend!! I recommend them to all ages. Just try them out.

Well I will just start by saying did not know what to expect when I walked into this school.
I will tell you that I do have a fair amount t if Matt time with jitz, wrestling, and judo,
This school was awesome!! Right away the owner made me feel at ease it's been a minute since I had trained so I got to go at my own pace ,and I didn't have to feel like I was trying to prove something I was having fun there's a lot of schools that people always want to test you the first time they meet you.
I really enjoyed myself and I didn't have to prove that I was tough enough to be on the mat.
Thx I would

In the vast desert of foofy, unpractical martial arts academies, a lush oasis of practical knowledge can be found at one school located in the heart of Southern California, All American Jiu Jitsu! With a structured learning plan teaching the most effective techniques from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Wrestling, and the ancient Viking art of Glima, you will not only learn how to become a competent and confident martial artist, you will also become a humble, well rounded individual.

All American Jiu-Jitsu is a really great place to train. Coach Briston really brings his experience to the mat when teaching, presenting material in a clear way.
I'm also enjoying learning Glima (basically Viking wrestling) from him. He's the only instructor around offering it, and the unique opportunity is something I couldn't pass up!

Instruction is solid, clear, and consice. There's no excessive complicated instructions, you know the kind that makes you wish the instructor would just shut up. That doesn't mean questions aren't answered or clarified. The length of the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class is perfect= 90 minutes as opposed to most gyms that put on 60 min sessions. Rates are very competitive, plan on going to Idaho for better deals. Facility is clean, organized, and the equipmet is new. The location is in a safe neighborhood. Even at 1am you won't see gansters or bums roaming the area. The best part is
