Here we are two+ years( +\ - a few) later and just now writing this.
Well worth the wait though
Ok, Rewinding back to 2.5 years.........It started with me telling my husband that he needed to find hobby. That hobby turned into a lifestyle In less than a month. He was waking up at 6 am 5-6 days a week to "roll" right before work. I swear, he wasn't obsessed(winking face) My husband explained to me multiple times the benefits to this new lifestyle and decided to enroll 2 of 4 of our kids. Our two older kids weren't as stoked as their dad.They thought it was just another activity

I've been interested into training Brasilian Jiu-jitsu for awhile now and Im so happy to have found such a welcoming and encouraging academy. Head professors Ron and Jerry are very thorough and detailed with their instructions with each technique. This emphasis to details greatly help new students like me to gain confidence in properly executing the moves in drills. Everything we drill then is practiced with open mat to finish the class which for me was the fun about this martial art, figuring out ways to apply our practice in the live sparring. Great gym. Of course there are more men than girls, but there are enough of us to train if that makes you more comfortable. The mats are new and clean, very spacious so you don't bump into each other; the people are friendly and of all ages. Morning and evening classes, open mats on Friday and Saturday, gi and no gi. Children and youth classes if u want to make it a family thing. Great teachers who are also great people. And also international athletes offer seminars for members. Very welcoming environment. Free trial available.

So it's been a year now training at Ethos. Without fail this school has satisfied my needs to further develop my jiujitsu with a great group of people. I had just attained my fourth stripe on my white belt and feel like I'm getting better training here. Both Ron and Jerry are outstanding instructors who support everyone's jiujitsu journey whether you're here to lose weight, learn self-defense, or compete. Best jiujitsu school in Orange County!!!

Such a great environment to train BJJ. Everyone here is so supportive and encouraging which makes for a great learning environment. They have 2 instructors that have very different styles which allows for diversity when training your art. They offer a free class and have multiple signup options. Come check them out... young or old, white or black belt. You wont be disappointed in your experience.

My 2 kids (11 & 13) started with Ethos on day 2 of their opening. They had never had previous training prior to this. Coming from an athletic crossfit background, my kids transitioned quickly and fell in love with this sport. The coaches Ron & Jerry (brown belts birthed out of Leon JiuJitsu) are very patient, and make each student feel welcomed and a part of the team. In just a few short months, they've had opportunities to roll with different belts and learn so many vital self defense skills.
