The Mission of WAKO Team USA Kickboxing is to promote Olympic-style amateur kickboxing in the United States and to provide a path to national and international competition for athletes of all ages.

WAKO hosts two different world championships every two years - one typically covering forms of kickboxing such as full-contact, semi-contact, and musical forms. This week while in Turkey, WAKO USA's Tim Mazurkiewicz was nominated for and accepted the position of Director of Officiating for WAKO Pan America.
