I have been here several times for a regular manicure and with polish.
Recently, I had a hell manicure and it looks amazing asking with looking newly done a week later.

Got gel nails - messy edges, air bubbles / other lint on nails, had to re-do a few times after I called it out. Would not recommend.

Great service and super pet friendly 💙. My pedicure came out amazing and the ladies were kind and attentive. They are the self care I need in my life.

Tiny space near between Hell’s Kitchen and the Theatre District. Incense burning and a chanting video plays from the flatscreen in the back. Everyone is very nice. My gel manicure was painted on sloppily, so the technician had to constantly clean goop off my cuticles, making some areas lumpy and uneven, but serviceable. I’m sure the skill level varies and I’m willing to give it another try.

Love getting a spa pedicure here. Staff are lovely and owner is so sweet. Her daughter is nice too and very energetic. My feet always thank me afterwards

Really glad I gave this spot another try! Everyone is really friendly here -- has a great family vibe and we should all be supporting good local businesses like this one. Mercedes did an amazing job on my gel French mani with black tips -- cost $45. I believe a regular shellac gel mani is around $35.

I love that they accept Venmo and Zelle in addition to cash and CC, but FYI you get a discount if you pay with cash. This place is no frills so if you're looking for an upscale luxury salon this is not for you. However, prices are more than reasonable for the quality of service.

These ladies are amazing - every single one of them! Whether you are getting a regular mani and pedi or doing gel manicure (which lasts about 3 weeks), you won't be disappointed. It is not a fancy nail salon but the service is great, they listen to you and treat you with kindness. They offer tea, sparkling water and even wine.

I recommend calling ahead/or making an appointment because they are quite popular amongst us locals. I just wish they would bring back the nail dryers, which they did away with during the pandemic.

I really enjoy going to Nams so much. It is a little pricey, but my nails last forever. They have a 7-day guarantee of some sort, if your gel polish chips within the week of getting them done, they will fix it. So I appreciate that. Everyone I have seen there is very nice and they always offer tea, water, coffee, etc.

I stumbled upon this cute neighborhood nail salon, and pleasantly surprised by their Tibetan-influenced decor. Photos of H.H. Dalai Lama, a reclining Buddha and Tibetan prayer flags welcomes you in. I especially liked their TV with medicine Buddha mantra playing overhead. A relaxing experience with a fantastic $30 pedicure.

Absolutely terrible. The lady did not make ANY of the nail extensions I asked for even. It's obvious which nails are real and which are not. One side of each of the nails are sticking out while the other side is straight? The cuticle portion of the polish are not clean at all and few even touch the cuticle which is rule 1 of gel nail polish. She did not seem experienced with putting extensions on either. Did not properly drill off all the powder/coat causing random bulges on my nails. Paid $70 for this set and even tipped because I always do. Did not seem clean as the UV gel light smelled

It was my first time there and everything was perfect! Finally a nail salon with well spoken and accommodating people!! Everyone is so welcoming! Definitely my go to nail salon from now on!! Love it!! Thanks to all the staff!!

Don’t go here. Both myself and my partner got infections after going here. I’m honestly surprised that there are good reviews.
The place was overbooked which is not only a COVID concern but also made for a poor experience. They gave me a manicure on a pillow while I received a pedicure because they ran out of seats at the table. Then they almost immediately made me get up (freshly painted pedi/mani) and walk to the front of the store to sit on a bench for my nails to dry. Just kept getting shepherded around the store when I was just trying to relax by treating myself.

I visited Nams last week and was utterly disappointed.
Firstly, this is a breeding ground for COVID. There were about 20 people crammed into a tiny space with absolutely no social distancing. Even though everyone wore a mask, I’m pretty sure I would have gotten COVID if someone who had COVID was present that day.
Secondly, the lady who did my mani and pedi must have HATED me. She did a super speedy and sloppy job on the pedi, probably so she could free up my spot for the next customer, so they could get through more people and $$ per unit time. Sure I understand that, but my pedi was less than

Worrisome infection control practices where nail technicians pass things to each other as they actively work on people's hands and feet. Additionally, extremely cramped and overcrowded, even for a PRE-COVID era. Also told me to use fruit in the description of my Venmo payment - requesting that I make no mention of nails. Will not be returning.

Edit: 6 days after my pedicure and my toe is definitely infected.

I got a $30 regular pedicure and it was done well. Overall, I had a pleasant experience but not sure about how small the place is and packed it is. Definitely pedicure was worth the price.

Such a great spot! I had my nails done June 1st and over a month later with gel, my nails are almost perfect (just a bit grown out). Everyone was so friendly. Going to come back here soon

Love this place. I usually get gel manicures and regular pedicures, sometimes gel extensions. Mercedes does a great job meticulously shaping my extensions and adding a design if I want. The salon has cool nail stickers, too. My manicures always last close to 3 weeks or more, and my pedicures even longer. Also, the vibes are very peaceful in the salon. Highly recommend.

I had an unpleasant experience here first because my nail lady seemed to really not want to do my nails and seemed generally miserable. She definitely hated me which is not really a great feeling to sit across from someone for a hour who is shooting you death stares.

Then she cut and filed my nails down ridiculously short to the point that my fingers still sting slightly. And then she did a sloppy job on trimming the skin around the nails on the other hand. It was all around very unpleasant and my nails are so short after I tried to grow them out specifically to get them done. They said they

BEST GEL NAIL EVER! Walked in without appointment, got seated right away. Small place, but ladies spent long time making my nails beautiful & hands so soft! Wonderful quality for just $40. 10/10 recommend to anyone! Thank you ladies !!!

It's a cute little (very little) place that is not about luxury or champagne flutes while you get pampered (though they do serve Perrier, coffee and soda). It's all about getting people in and getting them out.

But while they are all business, they are also very good at what they do. Seriously, before finding this little gem, we went to a place that was very pretty and spacious and charged a lot of money only to give one of the worst mani/pedis ever.

Nams has a great team and both my manicure and pedicure were perfect. My husband has job where having perfect nails is extremely important

I had the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I did a gel extension filling and requested a color along with gel pedicure. The gel pedicure was fine. When I went to do my gel extension filling and gel manicure from the start the lady just cut my nail too short before even asking me what I wanted. She then was uneven with her work and I had to instruct her on every nail and show her why it was uneven. Then she went to put the color on and kept doing it unevenly. The end result was thick nails that looked like a 5 year old had done them. When I refused to leave without them fixing

Really tiny little nail spa. The owner was super nice and friendly. I went in a super hot day and AC wasn't in so I was melting a bit and the owner was giving out drinks which was nice of her! I got a regular pedicure for $25! Great deal for the city. I was pleased and would go again.

This is such a cute nail salon and the quality of service is on point. I got a manicure done here and they charged me $15. No reservation is needed. Walk in is welcome and everyone is super friendly.

They do no offer acyclic tips but only do dip powder tips for $55.
