Iennusa Orthodontics is a private orthodontic practice providing personalized care to our patients in a fun, relaxing environment. Unlike many high-volume practices, we do not schedule multiple patients at one time. As a result, we are able to see you on time and give you our undivided attention. Dr. Iennusa provides all patient care personally.

Come see the difference for yourself. Dentofacial Orthopedics - early treatment that assists in the growth and development of the upper and lower jaws. We loved Dr. Iennusa's office. Warm and friendly environment with a great staff.
Services
Dr. Iennusa is a 1999 graduate of the LSUHSC School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he was accepted into the General Practice Residency at LSUHSC-Charity Hospital New Orleans where he was operating room chief resident of the Department of General Dentistry.

His responsibilities included working as part of a medical team that provided treatment to medically compromised patients, organ transplant patients and patients undergoing treatment for various types of cancer. In 2001 he joined a private general dentistry practice in Mandeville and practiced general dentistry full-time until 2005 at which time he began practicing part-time and working as a sales consultant for multiple orthodontic companies.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children have an orthodontic evaluation by age 7. Growth plays a significant role in the position of the upper and lower jaws and teeth. Many times growth of the upper and lower jaws does not occur as required resulting in an improper relationship leading to a malocclusion, or "bad bite".
We urge you to take a closer look at our website to learn more about our practice. We are sure you will find that our practice is quite different from most orthodontic offices. At Iennusa Orthodontics, we take pleasure in providing a unique orthodontic experience. It is our goal to provide personalized care to each of our patients.
All orthodontists are dentists, but not all dentists are orthodontists. In order to become a dentist, one must complete the necessary college requirements and be accepted to dental school. After completing a four-year dental school curriculum and successfully completing a state or regional board exam a dental school graduate is eligible to practice as a general dentist.
We have seen first-hand how Dr. Iennusa provides a high-level orthodontic service in a patient-friendly atmosphere. He continually develops a great rapport with parents and patients, alike - whether it's in his office or in the community. His patients are immediately put at ease and he innately expresses a personal interest in their overall well-being.
