I’ve been living in Canterbury for over an year. The neighborhood is save, no difficulties parking you car. The apartments might look luxury from the outside but form the inside is below average. However, it’s spacious. Appliances( heating, cooling, dishwasher and refrigerator) are really noisy. And wall isolation is not that good. Electric bill is really expensive last month was around $200 with minimal use. It seems there something wrong on estimating the bill.

I just wanna say, one of the best experiences I’ve had start to finish. Emily Church helped me figure out how to pay off my balance after my dog left it a mess. She was extremely understanding and listened to all my concerns about the move out inspection. One of the nicest people I’ve ever met and made the moving out process super easy.
10/10 would recommend Canterbury Green to a friend.

I’ve lived here nearly 4 years and thus far, it’s been one of the best places I’ve ever lived. It’s quiet, peaceful and it feels very safe to me. Maintenance has always been performed promptly and they’re really nice as well. The staff in the office has been amazing for me through this Covid affair and I really appreciate their patience, professionalism and understanding. love.it.here!! 💯

I had a scheduled move in date for January but needed to move in two months early because of work and was stressing about where I would stay. I came in and Jeannie was a huge help to get me switched out to another apartment right away. She’s followed up with me whenever I come into the office about my experience and how everything is going. Also Jeannie helped returned my lost wallet that I had left in the leasing office. Overall she has made my moving and apartment experience a whole lot easier and better!

I was helped by Christine Wright and she is never wrong. Fulfilled all my needs when it came to renting my first apartment and no question was to basic to answer. It made my first time experience fantastic and I know if I ever have any troubles here she is a text away for help or questions.

I've been in Canterbury Green almost a year now and the staff members have been great But, Ashley has been phenomenal. Anytime I've called with a minor issue or had any questions she led me in the right direction. Ashley was very informative and helpful. I'd rate her 5 stars every time.

The maintenance staff is very fast in responding to requests. I've had barely any problems with living at Canterbury! There rent is affordable you just have to check back daily to find the best deals because sometimes it can look outrageous. I would recommend people to live here, lots of amenities and golfing is a plus
The only downside I have with living here is the office barely answers the phone. On the other hand they only have only so many people for thousands of residents. Mainly you can take care of everything through the residents portal

Great apartment complex! The maintenance staff was very responsive and fixed my problems quickly. All the staff helping me with my lease responded very quickly and pleasantly. My apartment was very clean and in great condition when I moved in. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there was a weird smell (almost like a smoker had previously lived there) when I first moved in but it did go away quickly with candles and a good clean. The mailboxes are also hard to find.

This is a 100% honest review. Don't move here, you will regret it. It definitely has the most amenities for the price. But your electric bill will be outrageous. The customer service is AWFUL. They will never return a phone call or email, and will do anything they can to nickel and dime you.

pro tip for current residents: pretend to be a new customer interested In leasing when you call. They won't ignore those phone calls!

They also lose paperwork and claim you never gave it to them. Extremely unprofessional and not customer focused.

Photos 1-4This was my apartment when I was in Canterbury last year. They never did service request on time. Also never was their rent reimbursement for the inconvenience. WORST apartment complex ever. Rude staff and all they care about is money money money.
The other photos 5-8 are from my recent apartment. We sent in 10+ service request for this bathroom. They do not care at all about their residents. They want money. The wall has 100% moisture in it. It has been a problem sense July 2019 and NO one has helped us until now, March 2019. Not excusable and completely ridiculous.

First, this will be a honest review.

Canterbury has the worst customer service regarding answering phones. If you go into the office, Peter is the person to talk to because he is knowledgeable and helpful, but getting them to answer a call or return a message is next to impossible.

Second, DO NOT move into a townhouse unless you live with other people. I got one for myself and my kids and when it gets cold, the heating bill will be upwards of $500 a month (was told around $200-$300 when signing my lease). I would not let my dog stay at Canterbury. The office staff is rude and they tell you that whatever you tell them is confidential. They lie!!! Electric bills and utility bills are outrageous!!!! They do not fix anything!! Drafty outdated apartments. All they care about is your money. There are so many other apartments sooo much nicer for your money with better maintenance and office staff. Canterbury also has a problem with people leaving trash around everywhere outside and this was my daughter who lived there, I wouldn't visit her certain times because her apartment was freezing cold

Apartments are old and dirty. Carpet in the bathrooms??
Management doesn't care about its residents whatsoever. We had animals making noises in our walls late April 2019 and they did absolutely nothing despite multiple calls and service requests. Now there are animals back in our walls scratching around and poking their claws through holes and management has yet to do anything about it. Terrible management, dirty apartments, do not live here. We would never lease here again. Moved into our apartment only to find several things wrong. Besides the amount of dirt and grime that were inside our kitchen/bathroom cabinets, on top of the counters, and inside both of our showers, the dish washer was filled with dirty water that gave off a terrible stench. One of our bathroom doors had a visible bloody handprint on it as well as additional blood smears. Our apartment was also infested with bed bugs upon move in. I have personally lived in 3 different apartment complexes in FTW. Without question Canterbury has been the most family oriented of them all....

Events galore:

They range from Tuesday pizza night deals from Hungry Howies to a Massive Easter Egg hunt, coupled with Movie Nights and back to school backpacks full goodies!!

They have always been super responsive with all my requests and needs..

This place is a fire hazard. There furnace and thermostat are not installed correctly. I have proof as to my boyfriend apartment was there when maintenance came to fix the problem. Left many messages for Nicki the last two months .Never return calls. Reception is very rude. Now after seeing all the fires and complaints with high electric bill this place should be shut down till every unit it checked by a professional. Giving them a week to respond to complaint . And get this resolved. Will be posting more updates with pictures and videos on what there maintaince guy told me and replaced

I hate living here. These apartments are so rundown and they are CONSTANTLY having to repair things. They need to be replacing things. Not repairing them. My dryer broke so they came to replace it. The maintenance man told me that the one I had, had been here is 1995!!!!!! Ridiculous considering how much you have to pay to live here. DO NOT be fooled by the sign out front that says "luxury apartments". There is absolutely nothing luxurious about them!!! Stars are for the HVAC maintenance team who came out and fixed our AC and made sure to have the carpet cleaners there at the same time. Our thermostat was reading 78° for a few days and they came out and tried to let it thaw, thinking there was ice on the condenser. Turns out there was about 10-15 years of dirt. This is from the repair guy's own mouth. We have only lived here three years. But they got our home liveable, so five stars.

Now to find out why our HVAC system hadn't been cleaned in my niece's lifetime.

Who charges 50 dollars to pressure wash childrens sidewalk chalk? Canturbury Green does.

Canturbury Green was nice to move into since we did not know much about the area, but after 2 years and dealing with a 1100 move out bill, DO NOT MOVE HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT. If you have ONE stain on your carpet when you move out, you will have to replace the whole carpet. They so not do patch jobs. They will nickle and dime you to death. 175 counter top damage. 50 dollars to power wash a small pad of concrete outside (my child was bored and decided to draw with sidewalk chalk while we moved.  They said

The apartment complex itself is quite impressive. Lots of apartments of all different variety and prices. The staff is not so impressive. They can be curt or flat out rude in some places. The are might seem pet friendly, with animals being allowed and a dog park on site, however they don't use pet friendly salt in the winter. This cause my dog to sometime be unable to move due to the corse salt being lodged in his paws. (You would think after 300$ non refundable and 40$ a month they could afford the slightly more expensive, pet friendly salt.) You are guaranteed to pay more upon a lease renewal

Not terrible. I hate that our electricity bill is astronomical because we have no insulation in these apartments for the winter and there is a straight up hole in the wall to the outside behind our washer and dryer. We have had flooding, moles (yes, the little ugly mammals), and yellow jackets enter our apartment because they won't fix the insulation and the hole.

They do have great events that are even free and they are very nice in the office. If it wasn't for the hole leading to the high electric bill and a new job offer in another state, I would stay.

I use to live at these apartments a long time ago. I must say the amount of work that the new management has put into these apartments and everything they continue to do to make this apartment better has really paid off. They look better and cleaner than before and the whole neighborhood looks safer. The staff are friendlier and they seem to actually care about the residents!

Don't let the fact that there is a bar on the backside of the complex bother you. They have a courtesy patrol that monitors the grounds and there are police at the bar to keep things calm.

I am split on my decision on this place for a few reasons. When we planned on staying here from word of mouth family and friends.
We wanted to book a room we had are dates planned and were ready the person that did the reservations wanted us to hold off until we got closer to the date to book, the prices would be the same and there would be a home she would make sure of it. That was fine until we started to get closer to our dates and we could not contact the person, phone, email or text message, nothing. We left several messages for this person to get back to us noting. Finally after a few days

I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the customer service here.

While being insanely rushed through the application process, I was told that the application fee was nonrefundable, which I was 100% ok with, but was told that the holding fee for an apartment was refundable and was held until I was ready to move in. So I took a little while and compared to one other place I was looking at. I decided on the other place and went back for my refund. That was when they decided to tell me that I cannot get it back after 72 hours.

I moved here in August. I am only living here temporarily but I enjoy the amenities although I am too busy to use. I had heard really bad things about this place but it has been really nice. My neighbors are friendly and watch my place when I am out of town. Only problem is the energy cost they need to do some insulation to reduce energy cost. But otherwise great place.

I lived at Canterbury Green Apartments for one year in 2011-2012. People interested in living in this apartment complex should know it is inhabited by a large number of college students (I was one of them at the time). The apartments are pretty old, but the one I moved into was clean. They are some of the cheaper housing options in the area (at least at the time), especially with roommates who split the rent. There are plenty of floor plan options, but expect to pay numerous different prices based on location in the complex.
