If you are addicted to heroin or pain medication and want to regain control, contact a CAP clinic near you. Each patient gets the support, medication and structure which are needed for recovery. At CAP clinics, treatment works. Heroin and opioid medication (pain pill) addiction can be quickly controlled and effectively treated at CAP clinics.
Most patients feel understood and welcome from their first day, and after stabilizing on methadone stop abusing heroin or opioid medication. CAP starts by giving you hope, and an escape from the seemingly hopeless downward spiral of heroin addiction. It restores order to the chaos of a life of addiction.

We’re simply a paycheck. It’s our treatment but yet we’re called “lifers” and r told we will fail if we ever leave. Try tapering off ur dose to get out of there and see how ur treated. They keep telling me I can switch to subs, but why switch one for another when I want out? It’s not ur treatment. I can only go down 1mg every TWO WEEKS, bc of safety,,,But if I cut off my insurance they AWS u at a 4mg drop a day! How is that considered safe? Methadone should be a temporary use to get off opiates, not a life sentence. U don’t talk to clients about life after

I am absolutely furious with how I am being treated, or the lack of treatment should I say, I have been trying to get in touch with someone from the facility to see if I can possibly get some help.. with absolutely NO return phone calls after 3 weeks of calling on a daily basis. Every morning. I have left countless voice messages on someone's voice-mail and there is just no chance for help. This facility is by far the worst at trying to get help. If you need help DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT CALL THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU!!!

The medical staff is great honest most of all they all care about the people they help and treat.they run this place like a normal hospital no problem with a pushy security guard they have staff members that watch the floor groups a great normally run about an hour great place to get treatment and help for your addiction or pain issues although you cannot tell them that you're going there just for pain and has to be for addiction purposes only it's a great place to get treatment and help for those that want it the first step of treatment is acknowledging that you need treatment and then the second

I used to go here, and I now live out of state and live in CT. If I had the money to move back to Maine and go back to CAP Quality Care, I would!!! Absolutely the best counselors u could ever have, they actually help you and help you beyond just your addiction, receptionists are respectful, treat you like your a human being not an animal or something. The director and the doctor there are the best and sweetest people!! The nurses are probably the best bunch of nurses you will ever meet. I don't know if all the staff is all the same since I was there but when they got new people when I was there

I came to CAP at a time when I was destined for failure in life! I was about to loose the job, the home was about to crumble as well as my internal self! I had all but given up, given in to a life of failure. A friend of mine had begun going to CAP for services, he had good things to say, so I choose to go. I have been here for several months and life has improved greatly. Like most things in life, you will get out of it, what you put into it. Go to groups, share honestly with your counselor and they will help you...!
I implore anyone reading this who is still struggling; go to CAP, start intake
