Within the world of physical therapy is a vast array of treatment styles, techniques and special training. After a masters or doctorate level education, continuing education courses are what shape the "art" of treatment for a therapist.
If lucky enough to have the time, energy and drive, a therapist may commit to extended learning and courses that lead to obtaining a certificate or certification to treat, confirming the expertise in mind and hand of the PT.

Do not recommend for hand OT. After 6 visits (post op) my issue was not improving and returned to my surgeon. Upon discussing the therapy and exercises I was completing I was instructed to halt all instruction from this facility and was sent to another facility with a hand specialist, after two weeks I regained full range of motion and full recovery after 2 more weeks (total of 4 weeks). Literally did not do a single exercise or activity Achieve had me do once I left them.

Experts that care! I had a great experience here with Jessilyn and her team. I most appreciated their attention to detail by monitoring my progress and sharing the science behind treatment rationale. I understand that therapists have to maximize their time and work with multiple clients in parallel.
Jessilyn and her team worked together to do so while keeping my best interests and knee recovery efficient and effective. They exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

I have historically not had good experience with physical therapy but this is the first time things have worked out perfectly. Not only did my heal problem disappear during my sessions but Jessilyn taught me stretch exercises that I now do before and after each run. I am an active runner. I have had no heal problem for over six months.
