Services
The theory and practice of acupuncture originated in China over two thousand years ago as a method to promote health and help people heal from disease. It is one component of the larger medical system known as Traditional Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture treatment involves the insertion of very fine needles into specific points to stimulate the body to heal itself through a combination of energetic and physiological means.
The use of Chinese herbs as medicine has the same long history as acupuncture does. Chinese "herbs" are actually comprised of plant, animal and mineral substances. Today in China there are literally thousands of substances used for medicinal purposes, although most herbalists in this country utilize several hundred different substances.
Acupuncture is generally a very safe procedure with minimal side effects. Occasionally there may be bruising at the site of needle insertion. Mild soreness may be felt after treatment but this will usually dissipate within a few hours. We only use sterilized, single-use, disposable needles. At your initial visit we will thoroughly discuss your health history and other pertinent information.

I have had consistently good experiences with WellPoint. Adam has worked with me remotely to prepare and adjust an herbal remedy for many months now and has always been patient, knowledgeable and helpful. Most importantly, he has been effective in crafting a treatment for my particular needs. I recommend WellPoint highly.

I cannot recommend WellPoint Acupuncture enough. Teresa has helped me so much, and I've had a lot of acupuncture over the years.
My first appointment lasted about 90 min and she really took the time to go over my history and listened to what I was hoping to get out of the sessions. I've been seeing her weekly ever since!

Wow!....What a great and wonderful experience. I came to Wellpoint in December of 2012. I had just found out that my insurance, Health Partners, pays for treatment. Because it was the end of the year I had the opportunity to visit many times in a week to use up my visits. My acupuncturist, Teresa is very knowledgeable as well as kind. I was treated for common things associated with Diabetes, mostly high blood sugar, and food cravings. I was also menopausal and was having crazy hot flashes. Teresa treated me for all of them and even has reversed my menopause!!! I didn't even know that was possible

I met Adam and Teresa in June 2011 when I walked into their office and almost burst into tears. I had been seeing doctors and therapists for the previous four years for a variety of sports-related injuries, and had experienced little to no improvement. I knew nothing about acupuncture at the time but was confused, in pain and had nothing to lose. The injuries included a torn hamstring tendon that was initially misdiagnosed by an MD in 2007 and that led to extensive back, hip and knee pain, as well as a torn ligament in one shoulder and severe muscle tightness in the other.

Great place, great people, second to none care. I came here with lots of muscle tension and pain due mostly to computer use and ergonomics at work. I am now pain free and have noticed a lot of improvement in many other areas as well.
If you have never been treated with acupuncture before, this is a perfect place to do so because Adam will explain everything to you with the utmost patience. I would also suggest you try the honey, made by his very own bees. You will not regret.

Wellpoint is great. 3 out of 5 members of the family are going to see both Adam and Teresa. Everyone has had a great improvement in condition treated and overall wellbeing. Since I have seen Adam 4-5 times, my energy level has been very stable, mood and digestion is much better. Teresa saw my son one time and she was wonderful with him and even one treatment plus medicine she prescribed had a positive effects so far with his mild intermittent asthma.
