I made the mistake of moving in here, they have bed bugs, roaches, fruit flies and other gross pests. The building is old and smells bad. They boast a beautiful rooftop garden which is littered with cameras and is closed down at 10 pm like grown adults don't live here. If it's already accessible by key, then why are you shutting it down? Also They don't allow dogs which is absolutely mad. This place is absolutely sus. Management seems prejudiced. 1/10

You will absolutely love living in Dorchester Towers!
Seriously!
Not only is the location perfect with Giant and restaurants walking distance, it is safe and quiet.
The staff from DAY 1 has been so helpful and kind. Never did I go long with a problem, if I rarely had one. No headaches ever.
The pool is fabulous and clean. The rooftop and rose garden provide a perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of DC.
The studio I rented was HUGE and comfortable.
I'm sad to be leaving such a wonderful apartment complex.
Thank you!

Dead roaches everywhere when i visited. I visited to view an apartment and there were dead roaches all over the place. Every corner, the stove, the microwave, the closets, everywhere. Definitely dodged a bullet here. The hallways smelled like the carpet was never washed. The delivery packages were all over the floor in the hallways. It was a very bad first impression. The apartment size was good, and everything else was ok, but if you're not at peace with roaches (which I'm not) then check somewhere else out.

Dorchester towers apartments was our home for almost five years(58 Months). When we moved in from Pennsylvania to here we visited other apartments and decided to rent Dorchester for few reasons. Once we started living here we decided not to leave until we buy our new home. This is why we finally moved out. Here are the pros of living here.
1. Utilities are included(Except Internet)
2.Heating and AC
3.Rooftop garden, swimming pool, tennis court and rose garden
4.Service elevator
5.Old building so one bedroom apartment is larger than any other one bedroom apartment in the neighborhood.
6.Property

My neighbors have been here for 20+ years, and I would be too if I wasn't moving out of Virginia. Great place to live! Wonderful staff always there to smile and greet you. My favorite is the rooftop garden, and my guests never fail to fall in love with the view! Thank you Dorchester for a great home, I will miss living here!

CAUTION... DO NOT RENT HERE
The walls and floors are paper thin, a neighbor who possibly suffers from mental instability would scream and wail every single day at her soft spoken partner once he got home from work. She allegedly called the cops on me several times, including days I wasn't home and the apartment was empty, though I never heard from the police on my end. Perhaps this is why I was mistreated and harassed by the property manager, who felt slightly inconvenienced and never bothered to investigate or mediate.
The property manager once entered the property without notice or permission

I lived at DT for almost a year and only left because I had to transfer for a new job. I would never have left. If I return to Arlington I will happily live there again.
Positives:
1. Apartments are clean, bright, and spacious!
2. The management responds very quickly to maintenance issues.
3. The management people are polite and down to earth while being very fair. Nick likes to joke around, but he is very understanding and saved my butt big time when I needed to move out and had issues with my moving company.
4. The pool, tennis court, and rooftop are AMAZING
5. It’s just much better than

I recently moved after 14 years at Dorchester Towers. I never expected to stay so long, but it is GREAT value for the rent and and it was a wonderful place to transition from being single to married and a parent to a small child. The apartments are large, walls are thick, and there is nice closet space. We used its amenities regularly-the pool, rooftop garden (SO lovely), rose garden and tennis courts. Neighbors were a mix of single, couples, and families and we found them friendly and respectful. Nicholas at the front desk was the Manager through my entire stay and always helpful and responsive

Lived in a very cute studio apartment on third floor that has a patio. I had a very good experience during my stay. Apartments are spacious and have very good lighting in house. Enjoyed the roof top garden, 10 feet pool with dive boards and the sweetest rose garden. Never had these extra amenities in my earlier apartments. The sprawling area, quick access to bus stop and stores nearby, very peaceful building surrounded by good trees made my stay very pleasing. Had very nice time..Started missing the stay ever since I left DC

Lived here for 5 years and only left because my roommates were moving out. Decided it was time for me to downsize. I loved living here. The price is amazing for everything you get. You're within walking distance to some great restaurants, grocery store, Starbucks and a quick 2 minute drive to get to 395. You can be in downtown DC in about 15 minutes and you don't have to pay the DC prices! Our unit had tons of natural light and was very spacious. Maintenance team was always very responsive and usually to our place fixing the same day. Property manager is kind and approachable. I highly recommend
