If I could give zero stars I would. I won’t bother going into detail because most of the negative reviews I read were responded to in a passive-aggressive manner while trying to justify their actions or lack thereof. However, I would not recommend these people to anyone, especially Chesney. He’s anything but courtesy or professional. By far one of the worst experiences I’ve had in Austin.

I tried to call them regarding a listing they had which I wanted to look at as I'm student at UT but I had to call multiple times in 2 days before I got a response... other leasing companies in the area will attend you right away with a smile. And when I was eventually attended, I was attended with a rude welcome. A business should try to stay professional and try to be respectful to the client. All I wanted to know was more information on the property. I would work with them if they provided better communication but as of now, I recommend not work with them if you want to be treated disrespectfully

On navigating the student housing real estate market, lending process and deed requirements to obtain Texas residency, Chesney Coker is the preeminent expert. For someone who has never done this, it is not obvious to grasp that that (1) investing in student housing is a different market from a typical real estate purchase, and Austin is not your typical market; (2) certain condominiums have warrantability issues, which you later discover makes financing difficult to impossible (Chesney knows many of these off the top of his head); (3) conventional financing may not work if you are purchasing with

If you're an up and coming. college student with no clue or expectations about how a property management firm should operate, look no further. They have plenty of loud, cheap listings. But if you are a seasoned tenant looking for honest guidance on your future home, reasonable response to services and respect for your privacy I cannot discourage them more!
1. More than 2 months to fix an annoying and extreme water wasting leaking kitchen sink. Left me with no sink for months as the alternative was to shut off the water to the sink.

I had the absolute WORST experience with Tower Realty.
My boyfriend and I were renting an apartment that was sold mid lease- the new owners used Tower Realty to manage the property. We lived on Graham Place near UT and are both responsible college students. BLACK MOLD began to form on our upstairs bathroom door (our bedroom was a loft) and grew for a month and a half. I called, went into the office, and sent emails; I even had my boyfriend stop into the office. I received 0 calls back; They promised to fix it when I went to the office and did NOTHING. We had to move out on July 3rd even though

Bought a condo with Chesney a couple of years ago for my daughter attending UT Austin. Very knowledgeable about the whole process, including what was required to establish residency. He was very patient with us as we researched the market, and his knowledge and advice proved correct every time. Very responsive. Has also been fantastic as a rental agent – they take care of everything for a very reasonable fee. Has been a great experience!

They say they only handle the inside of a property but they charge high rent and as part of their service, they should ensure that the property meets the minimum standard by working with the homeowners association. I had to pay an extra $150 (estimated) to move out from 3rd floor because elevator is broken. The Homeowners Association will hear from me as well but beware. Some properties look very nice but check the outside as well as the inside before signing a lease through this company.

Tower Realty is an amazing place to lease from. This is the first time in my life I've leased an apartment, but Tower Realty, especially Charla, has made it a super easy process.
Charla is almost always available on the phone and through email, and is super helpful in resolving financial issues, getting maintenance requests set up, and whatever else you need. She also sends reminders when rent is due, which is super helpful!
Their website is also pretty easy to use, but the payment details page to track your rent and charges can be confusing to figure out.
Overall, I'm really happy
