After hearing about the past problems with management that The Lodge has had in the past, I was skeptical about looking into living here next year because of how picky myself and my roommate are and our experiences with Athens leasing companies. HOWEVER, after I went and toured with one of the managers, Jonathan, I couldn't be more excited about signing to live here for my next year at UGA. During my tour, I was walked through the great new updated amenities and their well taken care of units. I also asked many questions about the pest problem and lack of management issues, that many people and

The management at this complex is great and they seem to try their best to meet everyone’s needs. Plus, the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Rent is so high for molded bathrooms and stink bug infestations, you’d think the least residents can do is park close to their apartment (especially females). They spend so much money on consistently replacing a plastic gate instead of just getting metal. They can cut down a few trees to build more parking but would rather ticket and tow residents vehicles instead. If it wasn’t so difficult finding someone to take over, I’d been paid the fee to break this lease. They force you to renew your lease SO early to keep you trapped here or you’ll end up paying a higher rent monthly then you currently

They give incentives to get good reviews don’t believe the majority of em. The bus schedule is good but they only have one bus and it’s usually running late. The staff is all young. The apartments are functional but have many prior damages I’m sure they’ll cite you for after your stay. The gym is very small the pool is only 4ft deep. The desk staff never answers the phone; the answering machine says to send an email, they don’t answer those. The living space is at least functional but the staff is not great

Do not believe ANY of the positive reviews for The Lodge. I have lived in three different student housing complexes in Athens, and this is by far the worst. We have had a roach infestation since the day we moved in in August, despite doing everything we can to get rid of them. You will literally wake up in the morning to them crawling on the bed next to you. Additionally, the appliances are cheap and dirty. We moved in to a rusted microwave, rusted stovetop, mold on the ceilings, broken toilets, and our cabinets broke through when we tried to unpack our dishes on move in day. Despite all of this

Staff is overall nice. But when come to maintenance, you’re probably better off fixing the problems yourself or hiring someone outside the complex to do so. I’ve put in three different work orders via phone and online for the same problem in an almost two-month span and still have yet to get a response. With the cost of rent, you’d think they would more reliable to repair something as simple a doorknob, but not really. I might have to talk to them about getting a third party do repairs cause I don’t get charged for any “alterations” on something they ignored to fix.

It is my second year living here and I have had numerous issues, from an unclean living space with mold in my shower to things breaking spontaneously with limited maintenance response. I stayed for the convenience and the shuttle which was fine last year. Staff was also responsive and helpful last year. This semester in the past two weeks I have had so many issues. Staff does not answer phone anymore. Pool was closed the last two weeks of summer. Wifi is spotty and has kicked me out of classes and left me unable to complete work. Apartment lost my dads birthday present that amazon said was delivered

For the price, this apartment is great. The location, amenities (gym, shuttle, pool, free printer, fast wifi), and the fact that it is furnished and has washer/dryer make it a great place to live for a year or so as a student. Only had a few maintenance issues and they were resolved relatively quickly. There were a few roaches in the apartment a couple times but not an excessive amount. Also very nice that it’s pet friendly. Parking is easy during the day but if you come back late at night you’ll probably have to park a few buildings away
