Services
As an industry leader, the Accredited Environmental Solutions team is comprised of a dedicated group of highly skilled professionals, including EPA-certified lead inspectors and risk assessors, New York State and New York City licensed asbestos investigators, IAQA Board-certified and New York State licensed mold inspectors and NYS licensed building inspectors.
Accredited Environmental Solutions inspectors are licensed by the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and capable of providing ACP5's required for all permitted jobs in New York City. When Do You Need an NYC DEP ACP5? NYC law requires that an ACP5 asbestos inspection be performed prior to the start of any renovation or demolition project requiring a permit from the New York City Department of Buildings (NYCDOB).
Accredited can perform many asbestos types of tests depending on your specific needs. We can collect bulk samples of building materials to determine the presence of asbestos, air samples for clearance after completed abatement and/or for exposure assessments and dust samples to assess potential contamination.
Home buyers with young children wanting to make an informed decision concerning their family's health. A Lead-Based Paint Inspection is a surface-by-surface investigation to determine whether there is lead-based paint in a home, apartment, commercial facility or child care facility. In New York State a lead paint inspection can only be performed by an EPA certified Lead Inspector or Risk Assessor.
Accredited's EPA-certified abatement personnel will correct all the HPD or Dept of Health lead-based paint hazards while closely following the stringent EPA/HUD regulations governing lead based paint abatement. New York City Local Law 1 requires additional certifications and documentation from landlords for correction and dismissal of lead-based paint violations.
