We design and implement innovative ways to assess and resolve major environmental risk hazards. In order to understand our clients unique operations and needs we work closely with them to resolve and prevent any problems they have. Our success is measured by the trust and loyalty of our clients, which we have earned through the proud and effective way we conduct business.
The EBS team consists of highly skilled experts who work together in order to devise solutions that can help reduce liability potential while helping our clients provide a safer and healthier work environment. By providing technically sound rehabilitation of previously impacted commercial, residential, and industrial properties, we actively support the protection of the environment.

State and federal regulations hold building owners and employers responsible for protecting employees, occupants, and outside contractors from exposure to asbestos. Friable asbestos materials (which can readily release asbestos upon disturbance during maintenance, renovation or demolition) can have a serious impact on a building's value, planned renovations or demolition, and even on the ability of an owner to lease space within the building.
The goal of site remediation is to reduce contaminants to allowable levels for site closure or re-development. Environmental Building Solutions' personnel craft cost-effective solutions for cleanup based on their experience and reasonable judgment, available information and applicable regulations. Our geologic and hydrogeologic experts investigate the site and characterize the nature, extent and concentration of a contaminant plume.
Given the potential for contamination at a brownfield site, there are industry-standards methods for investigating a suspected brownfield property for the presence of petroleum contamination from underground tanks, elevated lead levels, and asbestos as well as other hazardous chemicals. These studies, known as Environmental Site Investigations (ESA's), identify and evaluate environmental concerns on a site or in an area.
Over the past two decades the operation of industrial treated water systems has become increasingly complex due to the improved low-tolerance design of mechanical components in these newer systems and environmental regulations. At the same time demands on these systems are higher than ever in an age of rising energy costs and increased attention to infrastructure maintenance costs.
If you store extremely hazardous chemicals (EHS) equal to or in excess of established thresholds, you must provide chemical hazard information to local and state emergency response agencies annually. For amounts above the reporting threshold, you must notify the State Emergency Response Commission (SERC) and Local Emergency Response Committee (LEPC) within 60 days.
