Originating in China about 5,000 years ago, Acupuncture is the oldest continuously practiced medial system in the world. Outside of China, in other parts of Asia, Europe and South America acupuncture has been used for about 200 years. In the U.S. acupuncture has been available since 1972 when an aide of President Nixon was successfully treated in China.
Acupuncture is a complete medical system originating from China more than 3000 years ago. It applies traditional Chinese medicine theory to diagnose and treat illness, prevent disease and improve well-being by inserting acupuncture needles at critical points. Due to its proven effectiveness, it is becoming more and more popular throughout the world.

I love Dr. Margaret! I’ve had bad nasal congestion/inflammation and mucous — she has helped me with this issue. After my 3rd session, I felt little to no post nasal drip/mucous clearing! She listened to my concerns and helped me address it. I look forward to each session because of the care she gives. Highly recommend her!

I went to try acupuncture for fertility issues and it worked. While being pregnant, this helped with my morning sickness and it went away. Margaret is an amazing person who helped me get pregnant twice and I highly recommend her. She is understanding and easy to talk to. You are definitely in good hands with her.

Very professional and kind. She listened to my needs and answered all my questions. It was my first time doing acupuncture and explained the procedure and the benefits to me in detail. Margaret has provided much relief in my daily life. My weekly appointments with her have greatly assisted with the pain I was experiencing on a consistent basis, almost negating the need for any pain medication. I was unsure of and somewhat skeptical of acupuncture before I started seeing Margaret. However, there have been numerous tangible improvements with a variety of my ailments. Lying on that table has become my healing sanctuary and seeing her has been the best part of my day for these past couple months. I was dealing with dizziness and neck pain before coming to Balanced Body Acupuncture. Within two months of treatment, my dizziness and neck pain have improved tremendously! I am not the person who typically writes reviews, but Margaret has to be recommended to everyone! I was recommended to go by my family members for issues I was having with pain and swelling. I had seen multiple doctors who could not identify the cause for the issues I was experiencing. Margaret made recommendations and I am happy to say my symptoms are all successfully managed. We have started to work on issues I was seeing a podiatrist for and after one visit my pain has diminished.
