Fournier's Leadership Karate Centers
The result of true karate is natural, effortless action, and the confidence, humility, openness and peace only possible through perfect unity of mind and body. This is the core teaching of Zen, the basis of Bushido, and our philosophy. Typically this is performance in unison of a technique or a combination of techniques by karateka.

Traditional karate places emphasis on self-development: perseverance, fearlessness, virtue. My real passion is karate has always remained focused on teaching others. When you come through the school I will be the first instructor that you meet as I will take you through your introductory lesson. Empty Your Cup There once was a great teacher who had many students.
Services
To provide a safe haven of positive energy and support for our students' mental and physical growth. To provide inspiration of personal excellence through our example as Black Belts both in and out of the karate school and to ensure the long-term growth of the school and its' staff by providing legendary student service.
Would you like to ensure that your child will grow up to be confident, fit and capable of handling themselves regardless of the obstacles they will face? Our classes are jam-packed with fun, fitness and exciting martial arts exercises that kids love! You'll love our classes too because they'll bring out the inner champion in your child!
Our system incorporates the benefits of interval training, strength training and aerobic training. Because we also believe that a sound body is only part of the equation, we also train to strengthen our minds and spirit. Our adult students tell us that their focus, their attitudes, and overall mental state have improved significantly since joining our program; not to mention that they are having a blast in the process!
Developed for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israeli security forces, Krav Maga is derived from a combination of techniques sourced from boxing, wrestling, aikido, judo and karate, along with realistic fight training. My real passion is karate has always remained focused on teaching others. When you come through the school I will be the first instructor that you meet as I will take you through your introductory lesson.
Never taken a kickboxing class before? That's okay! Everyone can enjoy our classes regardless of their age or experience. If you are still a bit unsure, you can always bring a friend to come and try it out with you. My real passion is karate has always remained focused on teaching others. When you come through the school I will be the first instructor that you meet as I will take you through your introductory lesson.

We love Fournier's Karate. They are amazing with the children. My son has been attending classes now for 3 years since he was 4 years old. The confidence and self control he has learned is fantastic. He has learned self respect and respect of others, as well as hard work to achieve his goals. He would live at the studio if we would let him. I would highly recommend this studio for all ages.

Took a kickboxing class early in the month. It was free since it was my first. Fournier's was great and very enjoyable. Unfortunately I have a schedule conflict with the classes I am interested in taking, so I was unable to join. Yet I feel that had I had a schedule that would work, I would be entirely happy with the instructors and this Karate center, I highly recommend.

The Location at 55 Warren Ave is no longer a Marital Arts Center and is now only a gym. The Martial Arts Center has moved down the road and seems to be run by Tony Fournier. The gym however, appears to be run by new group of owners, yet for whatever reason retained the name Fournier’s Fitness. Since the new owners have taken over they have sold workout equipment, moved the men’s locker room to what used to be a hallway, cut the facility's hours, gone up in price, and hired a rude and pushy manager. Recently I determined this gym was no longer for me and I wanted to warn others of the deteriorating
