Centerpoint's martial arts classes help people reach their full potential. Systematic, challenging, creative and fun, martial arts has something to offer everybody. At Centerpoint, our job is to draw on the best of the martial arts to make them work for you! The symbol of Centerpoint Martial Arts is the ens, a Japanese symbol that expresses a moment when the mind is free to let the body create.
Our Pre-K & Kindergarten Program, Excellent Kids, incorporates the Excellent Kids Curriculum, a life-skills martial arts program. An age-specific curriculum that is both fun and engaging, Excellent Kids provides tools that boost key elements of healthy childhood development. Each week your child will build their confidence learning life skills such as focus, teamwork, respect, and discipline.
Martial Arts are widely recognized for their positive mental and physical benefits. Kids that study karate get the physical activity and motor skills development they need for their health, and gain the sense of belonging, comradeship and social skills that help them succeed socially and academically.
Our Karate PLUS Program is a healthy and safe setting for your child to stay fit, make new friends, have fun, and gain knowledge through our award-winning Life Skills Merit Badge Program. This isn't your average karate program - leave the driving to us! The Centerpoint van will pick up students (Grades K-5) every weekday at Cumberland and Lyseth schools as well as the Falmouth West Falmouth Crossing Bus stop and transport them to our studio.
Studying martial arts is a great way to feel safer, stronger, and more confident. Centerpoint's Adult Martial Arts classes are based on the techniques of traditional Karate, a powerful, yet fluid martial art with roots that stretch back to China's Shaolin Temple. Our classes incorporate authentic martial arts drilling, pad work, conditioning, application, kata, weapons and meditation in a positive and empowering setting.

While I wasn't a patron of the Martial Arts studio, I was involved in installing the new glass partition systems that divided the space into multiple areas. The employees are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, taking the utmost care of the children under their supervision. The same care is taken with keeping the environment clean and sanitary, ensuring a safe place for all to enjoy. From all the smiling little faces I can only assume the children find their time spent here to be a fun and exciting part of their day.

Andy and Hester were brilliant at creating a birthday party for our five-year old daughter. We had about 20 4-yr olds at the party and it looked like all of them had a fantastic time. There was a great flow to the party, and I really appreciated how interactive it was. There is plenty of room and everything was set up for our arrival. We could not be more pleased. Worth every penny.

We just had our sons 7th birthday party at Centerpoint Martial Arts with Andy and Hester of which was an amazing experience. The entire event was greatly organized with games, activities and the infamous martial arts breaking wooden boards was a crowd favorite. Andy and Hester treat everyone as you are part of the family. Kids had a ton of fun! I would highly recommend both Centerpoint’s birthday parties and their martial art programs that both my kids participate in.
