E-Z Tree Recycling was founded by Mike Fowler in 1992. Mike's goal was and still is to make the world a better place as part of the green movement. We take in trees from landscapers and tree services for a small dumping fee. Thanks to major investments in chipping, grinding, and screening equipment, we process the trees into salable products.

Our playground woodchip mulch has been used in over 100 Chicago area playgrounds, including Chicago Public Schools, several suburban public schools, Montessori schools, daycares as well as backyard playgrounds. Call for a reference near you. Our playground woodchip mulch is superior to paved playground surfaces because it is safer.
We are primarily a mulch grinding and topsoil screening operation. We offer bulk deliveries of various kinds of mulch, playground woodchips, compost and topsoil. We also sell firewood. The company does not offer spreading services, but if you need spreading we can try to hook you up with someone. We produce and deliver over 25,000 cubic yards of mulch and topsoil annually.
