I wish I could provide a better rating but based on recent events and business practices I can't. The facilities are wonderful and the staff are okay(could be more knowledgeable and increase communication). My issue is with the overall experience I've had as a veteran. I have a special condition that I thought would be better served outside the VA for convenience. My first appointment was confusing as the lead doctor attempted to get me corrective surgery. I would have to pay an amount upfront and hope that the VA would reimburse me. That isn't how the VA works and veterans typically don't have

I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Silk. From my first meeting, I found him to be exceptionally thorough in his explanation of the procedure as well as addressing issues I’ve had in the past due to chronically dry eyes.

Dr. Silk and his staff are friendly, professional and very attentive. I was far-sighted which limited my LASIK options and when I was not completely satisfied with the initial results Dr. Silk worked closely with me to get my vision exactly where I wanted it. I really appreciated the help I got for my husband's cataract operation with Dr. Silk. The procedure was done in a timely fashion and the personnel in his office provided all the information and procedures that had to be done before the operations. Recently, I required emergency care when my eye ball had been punctured and was down to only 2% fluid, I was going blind in my right eye very quickly!
Dr. Silk and his team were able to attend to me almost immediately. He was able to look into my eye with the most advanced equipment and with a very steady hand, suture the wound, and administer fluid to refill and stabilize the eye ball in a matter of minutes, with no discomfort to me.
I would recommend Dr. Silk and his team to anyone in need of of highly qualified and friendly Ophthalmological eye care.

Dr. Rajjoub and the Staff at Silk Vision are incredible. I came here for a consultation about my droopy eye lid and immediately Dr. Rajjoub knew where and how to move forward with my condition called ptosis. Scheduled an office procedure and it went seamlessly. Dr. Rajjoub and her assistant tech Laraib did a great job I was in and out within one hour. There was a lot of attention to detail and even with my scar now Dr. Rajjoub isn't turning me away now that the procedure is done and my skin is recovered she is taking the extra step to make sure there is minimum scarring. Dr. Silk seems like a very intelligent doctor, however, if you're not interested in surgery, he's not interested in helping you. I was grateful that I found an ophthalmologist who could get me in on such short notice (same day) but it ended up being a waste of money. My problem is still unaddressed and before I could even ask for a recommendation he (literally) had already left the room and was helping his next patient, but no worries, he was sure to leave me a brochure on surgery before he left the room. Don't recommend unless you're 100% ready for surgery and a good surgery

I had ptosis and lower lid surgery with Dr Rajjoob and had the best experience. I had visited 2 other surgeons before meeting Dr Rajjoob and backed out on both. Upon meeting with Dr Rajjoob, I realized she was the real deal. She is direct, knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy. The whole experience was great. I was referred to her by my retinal specialist and found her to be so caring, compassionate and enthusiastic. She actually personally phoned me the day after my surgery to check up on my well-being.

While waiting for the surgery, I consulted with my girlfriend's husband who is an Opthalmologist. He did not recommend surgery and advise to seek for a second opinion where I found Dr. Silk via Yelps. After the exam by Dr Silk, he too did not recommend surgery.

Dr. Rajjoub and the Staff at Silk Vision is the best. She is the only Ophthalmologist I found who finally figured out what was wrong with me. Dr. Rajjoub makes you feel at ease and takes the time to explain what she did and what I need to do. I've seen her twice and have never felt hurried. Wonderful experience. If your looking for an Outstanding Ophthalmologist, look no further, she's the best. To top it off, today she said if I ever have any questions, to call, she is always available. He spent so much time with me explaining the cataract procedure and what post op would be like. This is a review update. Upon seeing my other review, Dr. Silk made an effort to reach out to me to explain what happened or that he felt there may have been a misunderstanding. In fairness I feel I should disclose that and mention it seems like he is helpfully sensitive to patients' sentiments and feelings. The fact that he called me, emailed me and also left a message on yelp shows he tried to make things "right" and for that I felt I should update and disclose his courtesy/sensitivity to unhappy (or misunderstood) patients.
