The Delray Eye Associates are an elite team of fellowship-trained physicians who have been providing care to our South Florida community for over forty years. We have decades of experience treating refractive errors, cataracts, corneal problems, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cosmetic issues, neuro-ophthalmic issues as well as many other ocular diseases.

We offer a state-of-the-art facility to provide outstanding, ethical, and honest care using the most modern and effective methods of diagnostic testing and treatment. Oculoplastic surgery is an ophthalmic subspecialty that addresses cosmetic and reconstructive concerns of the eyelids, the lacrimal (tear) system, and the eye socket.
Services
Delray Eye Associates, P.A. is a multi-subspecialty eye care practice composed of fellowship-trained board-certified ophthalmologists in every subspecialty of ophthalmology. Our goal is to provide each patient with the latest in comprehensive eye care in an efficient, patient-friendly private practice environment.
We are proud to say that our physicians have attended some of the most prestigious universities, medical schools and residency training programs in the country.

Each one of our eye surgeons has completed fellowship training in one or more subspecialties of ophthalmology, including glaucoma; medical retina; cornea and external disease and refractive surgery; ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery; neuro-ophthalmology; and pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus.
The doctors of Delray Eye Associates, P.A. treat a wide range of disorders affecting the retina. We are proud to have Marco Gonzalez, M.D. and Ronald Glatzer, M.D. providing treatment for our patients with retinal conditions. The retina is a membrane at the back of the eye that functions like the film in a camera.
Glaucoma is a potentially serious eye disorder that is the second leading cause of vision loss in the united states. Our glaucoma specialists are recognized for their ability and skill in diagnosing and successfully treating glaucoma. Delray Eye Associates, P.A. has participated in national clinical trials for new glaucoma drugs and innovative technologies and treatments.
The cornea - the clear, protective outer layer of the eye - is extremely important to our vision. As light enters the eye, it is refracted, or bent, by the cornea, which must focus the light clearly on the retina to produce clear vision. Unfortunately, the cornea can be damaged by a range of factors, including disease, infection, degeneration and genetic disorders, which can cause severe discomfort and/or compromise an individual's vision.

I had a frightening incident with my eye, so I called Delray Eye Associates. My doctor wasn't available but I was seen by another doctor who seemed extremely competent and thorough. I was also impressed by the response of the receptionist in handling my situation, in such a timely manner. Thank you so much.

Unfortunately, because of COVID, the waiting room was very crowded. The practice is extremely busy…so you feel a bit processed. My doctor was going at a very fast speed…but he couldn’t really help me with my specific issue. He was thorough and amicable.

Wow. I just called the office this morning after I requested an appointment online last week with no response from them. As I just relocated from Dallas and am need of an annual eye exam, the scheduler did confirm they are accepting new patients. Great....I disclosed that I do not have vision insurance and requested a "quote" for this exam. The base exam is $310 with other fees incurred for additional tests whatever those tests may be. I did ask what the additional tests would be and the cost associated......,she got very arrogant with my question .

Long wait time.
Please update your recording that states a $ 95 charge will be collected at the end of your visit, when in fact I was charged $ 125.
I question the amount and was told that you increased your prices, so please correct the prerecorded message.
Also you cannot print out the required update form from your website.
Thank you,

This is the most awesome group of employees I have ever met. I saw Dr Schaefer and he was so very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. One thing I was very disappointed with were several patients that were very very rude to the staff over issues that were to protect them from this virus. Again they were all Awesome kind and caring with me and most professional.

The checking in process was so friendly and extremely efficient.
My annual eye exam, including follow up to cataract surgery with Dr Rosenfeld, was the best that I have ever experienced.
Dr. Rosenfeld’s reputation was why I trusted him with my cataract surgery. He did not disappoint. I am so grateful for his professional expertise.
As an aside, he is one of the nicest and most caring physicians I have ever encountered in my 70 + years.

I switched from Bascom Palmer to Delray Eye Associates about 10 years ago. I have been extremely happy with that move. I have had several eye operations and ongoing aftercare that have been stellar. Delray Eye has a comprehensive approach to eye care, with specialists in most aspects of eye function. Alll the doctors and techies have been wonderfully sensitive to my needs.

A well run office and excellent staff. Doctors have treated me twice outside of office hours for a problem that they considered in need of quick treatment. I recommend them whenever anyone asks.

Very professional office with excellent staff. Dr Kronish is a superb gentleman with delicate hands and explains his diagnosis and treatment plan very clearly. I was totally impressed with my consultation visit. I was also put at ease over the scheduled surgery.

The patience this staff has with its patients is off the chart. People not reading signs,. Standing in the exit line, not understanding or being able to hear what the staff is asking
Of them.
They really go above and beyond to take care of everyone. Last time, due to an emergency that came in they got me cold water, pretzels and chocolate to soften the blow of having to wait longer than expected for these phenomenal doctors. This office is so busy but runs efficiently and smoothly and everyone tries so hard to make it a good experience. Happy New year to Delray Eye Associates!

I have been going To Dr. Rosenfeld at Delray Eye for many years. He is one of the best ophthalmologists. I find him to be completely competent and right on with everything with regard to my eyes. If I were just reviewing Dr. Rosenfeld, it would be five big stars!

Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for Precision Eyewear (in the same office) where I always have gotten my glasses and always were great. I got my updated prescription eyeglasses from them this time, a few weeks ago. Picked up the two eyeglasses and liked the frames. However, one was very uncomfortable when I got home. I called

Oh dear, well please just be super careful of coming here. Not going to name any names because I truly still love and respect the doc that I had here but I will be honest. I was specifically referred to my corneal specialist here 6 months ago when I moved from Tampa(that should say a lot in and of itself). I had a blast here every time up until recently. I'm in the medical field as well, so you can bet I stay on top of all the care I receive, but my doc seems to honestly be practicing with an approach that is decades old and is just not up to date with his info. He seemed a bit uninformed

Do yourself a BIG favor and stay away from this HORRIBLE place!!!!! Most miserable, nasty staff. You'll have to wait months for test appts. When you schedule your yearly 12 month appt. they will schedule it 14 months out. If you care about your eyes don't come here because they certainly DON'T!!!!!! This place runs like the
DMV of eyecare. Rush them in. Rush them out. The only difference is the employees at the DMV treat you with RESPECT.

I was referred here by several of my friends and other Dr's of mine. Everyone here is very helpful. It is a busy office but very organized. You do have to wait a limited amount of time but your visits are very thorough and often for follow up from procedures. I would highly recommend the doctors in this office.

I would have given zero stars if possible. Please go anywhere but Delray Eye Associates. We made a huge mistake bringing my mother here, because this is just like Florida's "Medicare clinics" popular in the late 1990s - older people stood outside for 6 minutes of a rushed, bored, arrogant doctor's time, and endured a loud and rude staff. My mother waited 1.5 hours in packed rooms to be diagnosed with a serious corneal condition -- and the rushed doctor offered little explanation and no treatment options. My mother wanted to go here because her vision is deteriorating and an

Yes the staff is unfriendly and officious, but the doctors are top notch. I have had 4 surgeries and had great experiences and finding good doctors in Florida is no easy task.
These doctors went to the best schools and intern, residency and fellowship programs.

So I guess it boils down to what you want, a great staff or the best doctors.

If at all possible avoid this place. I think at one time it was a good eye center. Sadly that is not the case now. I agree with above reviews -doctor and staff seem overly concerned about money. I felt pressured by my doctor into using the eyeglass store in the same office. So I did. The lens fell out into my hand less than 24 hours after I picked them up. When I returned staff said that my glasses were bent and possibly had been dropped and that could cause the lens to come out. The glasses were not dropped
I did not want to return to this place and asked for a refund but

Don't go here. It is a very impersonal place. They are overly zealous about getting paid and make you sign you life away before seeing you. I came for a sty and they forced me to get a refraction. I had to pay $95 even though my eye doctor in Illinois said this was totally unnecessary. He offered to send my records as I had this done less than 3 weeks ago. They refused and would not see me unless they could do it. Just another way to milk the patient IMO. There are better places to go where you are treated fairly.

I went complaining of a lash stuck in my eye. The office told me that medicare insists I have a complete exam. I asked the office not to dilate my eyes as I had just recently had that done, and it burns my eyes when they dilate them. They told me the doctor would not do the exam without the dilation and proceeded to put the drops into my eyes without telling me what she was doing. It was assault. I then saw the doctor. The doctor insisted that I had a dry eye problem and recommended I see a surgeon. My eye has been constantly tearing for two weeks, so I know it is not a dry eye problem.

They refused to examine my wife without giving her eyes a dye yes that takes two hours. She had an itch in the skin in the corner of her eye. Why would you give someone an expensive test before examining them? Why put dye in their eyes if they do not complain of having a vision problem? Do they just want to pad the bill of elderly seniors who usually go along with whatever they say? Do they see their customers as cash cows?We left without having an exam. What happened to the hippocratic oath taken by doctors? Are they more interested in money than patient care?
