We would like to make every visit to our office a pleasant experience and provide you with the highest quality eye care and treatment available.
This annual event takes place on Tuesday before Thanksgiving each year to provide eye surgery to those who are need, uninsured and have no means to pay for their much needed care. Howard Goldman, MD has been the catalyst for the program and instrumental in getting the physicians, surgical supplies, and medications donated to the event.
At Eye Associates of Boca Raton, our team approach to your care is meant to provide you with the best and most modern eye care available. Each of our doctors concentrate in specific areas of eye care that are of special interest to them and for which they have received additional training and experience.
Jeffrey M. Perlman, M.D. is the first and only full-time doctor in Boca Raton specializing in Pediatric and Neuro-Ophthalmology. A native of Manhasset, New York, he is a graduate of Cornell University and the New York Medical College.
Upon completion of his internship and residency in ophthalmology at New York Medical College, Dr. Perlman completed a dual fellowship in Pediatric and Neuro-Ophthalmology at the renowned Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary.Because of his specialized training and unique credentials Dr. Perlman answers many invitations to lecture to local physician groups, optometrists and community organizations.
Upon completion of his internship and residency in ophthalmology at New York Medical College, Dr. Perlman completed a dual fellowship in Pediatric and Neuro-Ophthalmology at the renowned Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary.Because of his specialized training and unique credentials Dr. Perlman answers many invitations to lecture to local physician groups, optometrists and community organizations.
A native of Ohio, Douglas Kohl matriculated through an accelerated B.S./M.D. program. He is a graduate of Youngstown State University, with summa cum laude honors, and Northeast Ohio Medical University in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Kohl completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Kresge Eye Institute, Wayne State University, in Detroit, Michigan.

I am very impressed with Dr. Pearlman and his entire staff. I had a state and other issues that he diagnosed. He is an excellent doctor and truly cares to swiftly resolve problems. He took immediate action to resolve my stye instead of telling me to come back for the procedure. I am very grateful to him and his team. I highly recommend Dr. Pearlman.

I am so happy to be able to highly recommend Dr. Douglas Kohl if you are in need of an Ophthalmologist. Recently at the age of 62 I found my eyesight getting worse by the day due to cataracts. I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Kohl because my 97 year old Aunt (a glaucoma patient of his) couldn’t say enough good things about him. I now know why. He has such a kind and caring manner and it is obvious that he is extremely skilled and knowledgeable in his field. Dr. Kohl did my cataract surgeries and I couldn’t be happier with the results!
I had both eyes done (the second eye was two weeks after the first) and everything went very smoothly. No more glasses! At every appointment, he took his time with me, answered all my questions, and never made me feel rushed. The office is very organized and efficient and I highly recommend Dr. Kohl without any hesitation whatsoever.
