Karen Reynolds is a Licensed Acupuncturist and a Registered Nurse whose passion is helping clients bring their mind, body and spirit back to a place of regulation, health and wellness. Having developed an early love for the sciences, Karen's first career was as an Intensive Care Unit RN with advanced specializations in open-heart, cardiovascular and kidney related issues.
In her late 20's she suffered from several serious health issues. On a lark, she opted to try acupuncture and both issues resolved entirely.

At Karen Reynolds Acupuncture we specialize in acupuncture to help with healing after surgery, pain relief, performance in sports along with women's health, fertility and pregnancy. Acupuncture is officially recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as being an effective treatment for a variety of health related ailments and issues.
As a Licensed Acupuncturist, Registered Nurse and herbalist, Karen's clients benefit from her clinical background, which is a wealth of 30 years of conventional medicine joined with 19 years private practice within the realms of acupuncture: including Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), as well as Daoist philosophy inspired 5 Element Acupuncture.
My best honest answer is: some aspects of the mechanisms of acupuncture can be scientifically explained but there are others we don't yet understand. Records do show that for the past 4,000 years, 1 acupuncture has been successfully used to maintain and restore health. Acupuncture regulates the immune system, for example, by balancing the production of lymphocytes.

Karen is the second acupuncturist I have visited. The visits really stand out because she takes her time. She primarily works on my hip which gets very sore and when I leave my hip feels good and I am completely relaxed. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a great acupuncturist or wanting to try another practitioner.

Karen is a rare acupuncturist with a combination of both Eastern and Western medical knowledge. Always learning, she stays on top of everything new in integrative medicine, which makes her a solid source of helpful information.
