The negative reviews you read at MB Staffing are all true, my interactions with Jackie, Jabari and another gentleman whose name I can not recall were amazing.
On the other hand the rest of the my experience was completely horrible. I am a public health specialist with a MPH from JHU the top Public Health University in the nation. Jabari called me one day saying hey found my resume online and he was interested in my background for a position, I interviewed but I wasn’t selected for the position but he said there were similar positions coming soon he would keep in touch which he did. One week

I was connected with Jeffrey at MB through a family member, who he also assisted with finding placement, back in 2017 when the world was still open. At the time I was seeking part time positions and Jeffrey offered me a number of amazing opportunities. Since the pandemic, I unfortunately fell victim to company lay offs. My husband started working on a contract with MB Staffing in Oct of 2018. From start to finish always professional and responsive . I had taken ill and Jeff personally called to make sure I was okay. If I remember correctly, I saw their reviews here on yelp, I called 6/20. I had an interview with Jeffrey, senior talent manager, 6/21. Get ready to spend 4-5 hours in the office, not 3 like they suggest: tests for Microsoft word, excel, outlook, completing job application. I was told of one position when interviewing and then when I did my follow-up email the next day, that position was no longer on the table and I was offered something else for less pay. I attempted to use this agency. I called once and was asked to send my resume, and then scheduled a phone interview with them. The agency never called me for it. I called 30 min later and they apologize for not calling because they were "really busy with another project", then got rescheduled again. The same thing happened. I called back one last time and was not able to talk to the person that I have been talking to throughout the process, but was told they could leave a message for him. I never heard back.

I was only looking for part time work. When I went into the Gallery-Place Chinatown office the experience was pretty straight forward. I took a few computer tests which were pretty basic. Once we met Jeff told me all about a particular opportunity with a Government position. When I interviewed the next day, I was offered a position by the District of Columbia Government. The best part about the experience is That I walked into a job making double my current salary. Jeff found me a position that's within my career field. BEWARE....Do extensive research before temping with Mb.....Horrible experience! Thinking of presenting a complaint to the Employment Commission. Concerned about temporaries who come thereafter.
Priscilla is nice, but is a puppet for Jeff's nonsense. Jeff is extremely unpredictable...one day he's friendly, another day he's filled with anger. Bipolar...possibly, surely needs to be medicated. He was not factually honest regarding the temp position as I found out more specifics upon my arrival to the workplace and the employer said Jeff knew....he failed to pass on the details...I

I was unemployed for over 6months. I searched earnestly for employment daily and did not receive an offer. My unemployment was soon to run out and a friend of mine recommended MB Staffing. This is one of the better agencies in Washington DC. I appreciated working with Jeff and he was always attentive to my assignment. 1. They habitually sent me administrators that were unprepared, emotionally unstable, lacking proper grammatical and spelling skills, and who were simply sub-par. This caught me off guard considering that they claim to conduct extensive screening and training for their temporary staff.
2. I own a women's only fitness studio, and the staff member in charge of sending me temps falsely told a few applicants that they needed "to look sexy" and "wear sexy clothing to work." Again, this was not only

I attempted to use agencies once or twice before and found the process was looooong and tedious. With MB, it was a piece of cake! I went to their office, which is perfectly located steps from the Chinatown metro, and it only took me about an hour to fill out my paperwork and complete the skills testing.
Jeff is awesome! He kept in touch with me about possible jobs and he wasn't pushy when I declined a job in Tyson's Corner (just too hard to get there w/out a car). I ultimately

The staff of MbStaffing is great. I think they definitely try hard to match good people appropriate jobs. I had a temp that surprisingly turned out to be a fluke. However, I believe that it was because the individual had things going on in their life that affected their ability to be present at the job. MbStaffing rose to the challenge and immediately filled the position with a quality candidate, who although was less experienced was better able to serve in the capacity that they were needed.

I've had great success with MB Staffing...back in 2005. I'm in dire need of gainful employment and I'm very disheartened that I'm no longer a priority to them. In 2005, MB placed me at a prestigious DC government position that lasted until 2008. It was my favorite. In 2010, I reached out to them and received the run-around. I couldn't even get an invite to an interview. I don't understand because I have a great record with this company. There's no job I will turn down as long as its within DC and at least $13/hour at the lowest I plan to reach out to them again

This is the first staffing agency that I have used that I have had success with. They actually call you back and place you almost immediately as long as you are available. I know three other people besides myself that have had success and where happy with there temp assignments, two of which where hired permanently. They are extremely professional at Mb staffing and Jeffrey Hebert is wonderful with placements. He is very thorough, and takes all factors in to consideration when matching employees and clients.
