I’m a local in West Berkeley and love feeling like I’m on vacation at the Berkeley Boathouse. The staff, including Rosa and Roger, are seasoned hospitality professionals - warm, welcoming and conscientious. Quality food and cocktails, and a tastefully updated vintage 1970s-style upscale casual ambiance make this a great place to indulge in a cocktail next to the spectacular free-standing fireplace on a cold rainy night, or watch the sunset on the marina from the deck on a mild evening.

Expensive for the amount you get served, if you ask me. Look at the size of those cups and look how much I was charged for the four items. Drinks were nothing special. Waited about 20mins before someone even came to help me. I do not recommend eating here, nor do I recommend their drinks. Eat elsewhere if possible.

Entree is a little pricy for its quality. But a comfortable environment to spend time and get some drink or bites. Outdoor seating is great when the weather is nice. Staff is really friendly and cheerful.

A friend and I loved and ate at this restaurant prior to its remodeling. I especially enjoy the indoor fireplace. This was my 1st time eating at the BH in 2 years. It was well worth the wait. I had a fried chicken sandwich and I was not disappointed. My friend ordered a shrimp sandwich which she loved; we both had a boat of wonderful french fries. The food is very delicious and plentiful and the price is right. We were in heaven sitting at the fireplace and were able to hear each other speak despite the other diners who also seemed to be enjoying themselves. Although we didn't order drinks, they

Food is good, decent portions for the appetizers. Very friendly staff although slight communication troubles in the kitchen it seems and somewhat slow bar service. Overall a very nice place for dinner beautiful views and good food.

Came here on Friday early evening. It was quiet. Perfect place for chilling and having some socially distanced drinks. Food was not bad either. You order from the bar and you get to drink and eat outside with the gorgeous view of the Berkeley Marina. Staff were friendly. We will be back.
