Dr Jere Butcher graduated from The University of Kentucky with a degree in Animal Sciences in 1981, and Auburn University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1984. He practiced in Kentucky for 3 years, then moved to Zanesville, Oh for 7 years before purchasing The Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in 1994.
It has been a perfect fit as Dr Butcher likes small town life plus his wife JoAnn is from Coshocton County. Dr Butcher says I have the perfect job, as I can fulfill my dream of helping people and their pets. Plus I get to take my dogs to work with me every day! Our office is fully computerized which allows us to efficiently schedule appointments for you and your pet.

This place is fantastic. My pup had an emergency and needed a vet on Friday. My standard vet clinic was *apparently* closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday and no one would answer the phone. The vet is close to my house, so I gave them a call. They were able to call and get my dogs records from my vet clinic and inform them one of their patients was being seen for an emergency. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They fixed my dogs problem and he was back to his normal self In no time! They even called me a few days after his visit to check on him to see how he is doing! Still haven't heard from
