The Goodwin story began in 1881, when two brothers, James J. Goodwin and Rev. Francis Goodwin, developed this classic structure as a landmark apartment building. The bed was comfortable, suite was nice and big, huge bathroom, everything very clean. The only issue was noise. We stayed on a Saturday night and they had two weddings happening. This of course meant drunk people talking very loudly in the hallways at 1:30 in the morning. I’d stay there again, but would ask ahead if any weddings were booked.

For a 3.5 -5 star hotel it lacked service. Had a luxurious try hard flare but lacked the luxury. The AC lacked the coldness and at lowest settings 65 was a bummer. No complimentary anything. No water, mint, robe thank you card etc . Bed is on wheels/slid - it moved every time we accessed the bed. Only Two Large Towels even the Holiday Inn has more towels for their guests. No Parking either - had to use an alternate LOT for an overnight stay. There was no wow factor for a weekend getaway. Sorry for the raw review. Front desk was helpful, chipper and kind. Unfortunately for the rate and quality

Pretty nice stay. Best part was the decor. One downside was the lack of housekeeping — my room wasn’t cleaned during my stay. I’ve stayed at a few hotels since the world has opened, so I don’t believe it is related to Covid restrictions. The room was nice other than the view of a brick wall for the amount of money I paid. I’ll consider returning but not sure.

This hotel is fantastic because of its location as well as the layout of the hotel room. The hotel staff was personable and very helpful with my questions. The Valet staff is attentive and got our car in no time flat. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the bar was closed. Overall, my wife and I were satisfied and will be repeat customers.
