Services
Pilates based training is a fun approach to fitness that combines both Eastern (breathing techniques and mental relaxation) and Western (strength and endurance) concepts. It delivers an effective approach to health and wellness. Pilates is recognized as a very effective way to strengthen the entire body while increasing flexibility and elongating muscles at the same time.
Level I and Level II Reiki Training sessions are each 3 hours long and the cost is $180 for each 3 hour session. You can take Level I only, or both, but not Level II before Level I. If you have trained with me or elsewhere and have completed Level I, feel free to deepen your practice and take Level II at this time.
Using the vibrations of sacred and ancient Tibetan instruments, sound healing produces deep relaxation, and is effective in helping to treat chronic illness and pain. Sound healing leads to a more relaxed and healthy lifestyle, weight management, and transformation of consciousness. Rachel gently guides her clients through relaxation exercises, affirmations, and visualizations while they receive the relaxing sound healing treatments.
It's that time again! It's a bit cooler, there's that freshness to the air, and.are the leaves already turning? It's back to school for our kids, back to school if we are teachers, and for some of us it's also back to school taking a class or changing the direction of our lives. I've just celebrated the finish of year one of the Yoga Therapy program at LMU, and will be right back at it for year two in a few weeks.
I've got a couple blown discs, probably from years of gymnastics and throwing myself against the ground as a soccer goalie. Although I really love yoga, when I was doing just yoga I still experienced regular bouts of severe back pain that would land me in bed dosed up on muscle relaxants. I haven't had anywhere near the same level of difficulty.
