Back in 2011, Unilogic's partners started to conceive an idea in regard to the supply chain industry. At the same time the increased demand of e-commerce in the fulfillment industry presented the opportunity they were looking for to become the help to navigate their customers through the perfect storm, offering both consulting and supply chain solutions, a robust and efficient connection between their customers and their final receiver.
Various industries that need to establish a central distribution point or flexible on-demand storage solutions. Our partner needed to forgo the formality of normal contracting and on-boarding due to time constraints and was looking for on-demand space from a warehousing partner in order to house products quickly.
These partners look for a solution to help them maximize cargo weight on containers and to improve their shipping process time. Frozen Food Exports and Imports are faced with challenges on several fronts. The traditional shipping plan for these companies involves local transportation (dray) of a sea container from the Chicago area to their food processing plants, often in different states (Nebraska, Wisconsin etc.).
