Eye Care Associates of Sarasota was founded by L.D. Perry, MD in 1985. Dr. Schwartz joined the practice in 1992 providing care for corneal & external eye disease as well as general eye health care. Our office prides itself on providing our patients with personalized, outstanding care. We understand that all of our patients are individuals, each with their own set of problems, questions and concerns.
So we don't use a 'cookie cutter' approach, the services and recommendations we give are based on each individual's medical findings. We will never 'sell' you services that are not right for you, nor recommend any procedure or service which is not in your best interest. I made an appoiuntemnt to see an Opthamologist for sudden color blindness and wanted my eyes checked out medically for disease. It took several calls inquiring about the new patient forms that needed to be completed before my visit. Finally I got it emailed to me (it's an online form with a special link) at 4:30pm yesterday. I filled out everything but before I'm able to click submit it mandates that I have to consent to have an eyeglass exam!! What?? Cost $58. No one ever mentioned this requirement on the phone and the thinking appears to be that most people will just comply. There isn
