The Florida Eye Care Clinic was established in 1993 fulfilling Dr. Jay Crump's vision in establishing a local clinic in SW Florida to treat patients with attentive service in an environment that nurtures individualized care specific to each patients needs. With more than 29 years in his specialized field Dr. Crump still loves what he does and welcomes every guest in his office with enthusiasm.

Dr. Jay Crump was born and raised in St. Mary's, a small south Georgia town just north of Jacksonville, Florida. He received his Doctor of Optometry Degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tennessee in 1988. Prior to attending SCO, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Oxford and Emory Universities in Atlanta.

I went to have my eyes checked today and was directed to this facility by insurance company. I wanted to try somewhere new because the other place I went to, I felt like just a number. Dr. Crump totally impressed me along with the two friendly girls out front. The office was clean and the decor stood out with all the old time black and white movie stars. All my questions were answered and explained. I then moved on to order glasses (I usually take my script and go to Walmart) NOT THIS TIME the prices were decent and within normal range...... Definitely recommend this dr and office.....I found a
