My neighbor recommended BEC after having a satisfying experience herself, so I decided to try them. Their selection of frames is great; I used my own and my husband selected two new ones. And while I found the staff friendly and the environment welcoming, of the four sets of prescription lenses we had them make, only one complete pair was done right the first time. So another nearly two weeks was added to the turnaround time for the other lenses. Not what we expected.

I am not a patient at Bayshore Eyecare, only came across them while vacationing in Florida. I mistakenly packed contacts for only one eye and had just started my trip. The team at Bayshore not only helped me replace the contacts I needed, they were prompt, courteous and gave me samples for FREE! I had every intention on paying, as this was my error. If they go to great lengths for a non-patient...I can't imagine the level of service they provide to their own. THANK YOU!!!

I went to Bayshore Eyecare because I was having migraines. My eyes were thoroughly checked & she wrote a prescription for eyeglasses for me that help take my headaches away as soon as I put them on. No medications, no botox. She listened & helped me find a solution to my headaches. Great experience!! <3

Been going to Kenny since he was at desoto vision in like 2nd grade for me (1993). It's more of a family experience. They treat you great. Been going to Bayshore since they opened it. Kenny and Jamie are great. The staff is very nice. Appreciated my visit yesterday as usual.

After shopping around, we made an appointment due to their lower fees and reputation. During the initial consultation, we re-verified the costs and made a deposit. Unfortunately, and without any warning, or reasonable explanation, the costs doubled. Because of this, we requested a refund, but they refused and only offered us a credit towards a pair of glasses. We found this offer extremely disingenuous. I can see one person making a mistake about pricing but not several.

This place was on the list of approved providers for my insurance. I have visited two other eye care practices in Bradenton over the years and neither one made me want to return. This place is different and I was impressed with the whole operation. I never felt rushed or pressured to purchase frames/glasses at the location. The doctor spent a lot of time answering my questions. They don't overbook appointments unlike a lot of other doctor's offices. Professional and friendly, they genuinely care about your vision and don't treat you like a number. If you are scrolling though

I am a returning patient at Bayshore Eye Care for a reason. They are professional, polite, and adept in all they do. The front staff is courteous and welcoming. Making an appointment is a breeze (even though they are a busy practice), and the providers are clearly a cut above the rest. Dr. Jamie is personable, quick and efficient, and will provide care that exceeds expectation.

I am a patient of Dr Ken and still can't believe what a caring and passionate doctor he is. I went to see him because of a problem with one of my eyes. He sent me to a retina specialist to get a second opinion. I figured the interaction with Dr Lawson was done but boy was I wrong. The doctor took it upon himself to contact the other doctor to find out his diagnosis and call me to let me know the treatment plan. He called numerous times to let my wife and I know what was going on and offering words of encouragement. Who does that in today's world especially in the medical world. I know

I’ve seen both Dr. Lawsons and they’re both great but I’ve mostly seen Dr. Jamie Lawson and she is just fabulous. She really cares about her patients and values their time and lives. She helped me really understand what was going on with my eyes especially with things relating to my job. She also explains things really well in detail which I appreciate! This office is great!

I was referred to the practice by a co-worker. Since I've only been back in Florida for a short period of time I was relying heavily on family, friends and reviews to locate doctors, etc. I was greeted with a smile and assisted as soon as I walked in the door. They were very prompt and friendly. Dr. Jamie was a jewel; very personable and thorough in the procedure, explaining her findings, and made suggestions regarding my prescription. I was very happy with my visit and will not hesitate to refer this office to others.

Best optical I've ever been to! Even when I have moved out of area, I always come here to get glasses done. NOBODY ever gets the prescription as perfect as Doctor Lawson. Very clean, friendly, and knowledgeable. Great selection of eyewear - I send the whole family here!
I recently went to another (more local) store to have my eyes checked and purchase glasses. What a mistake! It was the same price, if not a bit more expensive, the service was not as good, and they got the tinting wrong. Next time I *will* be going back to Dr Lawson and his staff!
