Dr. Laura Townshend is the owner of South Hall Veterinary Hospital. She graduated from Purdue University after attending the University of Georgia and University of Maryland. Dr. Townshend and her husband have two sons, her dog, Maserati, is an Italian Spinone that she enters in dog shows. Our Veterinary Receptionists are ther bright smiling faces you see up front and hear on the phone.
South Hall Veterinary Hospital has complete medical, surgical, x-ray and dental facilities. We offer a wide vareity of surgery and dentistry using state of the art technology and many of the same safe anesthetics used in human hospitals. The latest monitoring equipment is used to keep your pet safe.
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. South Hall Veterinary Hospital accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, Visa., and Discover.

On 9/22 our puppy fell off of our couch and broke her back leg, we called around hall county and everyone was completely booked! When we called south hall vet they had a slot open so we took it (this was our first mistake, I should’ve kept calling around), the receptionists and techs were very polite, no problems there. That being said when Dr.Townshend came into the room is where it started to go down hill, we felt that she was VERY judge mental, rude, and not communicative at all. She made us feel like she had the impression we abused our puppy, she made us feel belittled, and she asked, and

South Hall Veterinary Hospital is the absolute best! The staff here have always been fantastic… I really cannot say enough how great these people are!
HUGE shout-out to Grooming by Kory! Every summer, we bring in our Husky for a haircut, and you can see how much better she feels (and looks!) getting all that hair shaved off of her! She’s like a brand new dog!
