Established in 1958, Mike's Crab House brings you a mouth-watering waterfront dining experience on the banks of the beautiful South River. Enjoyed the food and view of the water. Seating was effective social distancing IMO. Staff was primarily young people but they all seemed to understand their assignments. I had the Broiled Seafood Platter. I wasn't a huge fan of the orange roughy fish that came with it but the taste of the crab cake more than made up for it. Will definitely patronize again!!

It takes alot for me to be impressed. My buddy took me here. I am a beach bum. My family grew up on the water. I LOVE SEAFOOD. To order large crabs and to recieve crabs that meet the expectation is a few and far between experience. I was satisfied and at peace with paying market price. They were JUICY. Perfectly steamed and seasoned. Even the Buffalo shrimp we ordered were perfect and tender. The staff and our server were super attentive and so friendly. The location is lovely. Right on the water. Mike's knows how to do seafood right!

I recommend dining at Mike’s Bar & Crab House!!! My mom and myself have dined at Mike’s for the last 2 months. We were told about the Buffalo Shrimp and Crab Cakes. My mother is a big fan of crab cakes! We have had 2 experiences with our new found favorite server named Heather…she is amazing. She shared her opinion on various items, maintains attentiveness to our table, consistently is proactive regarding providing condiments/drinks/ boxes and etc ( whatever she thinks you might need…she will get it). Finally, Heather has great communication skills. Our dining experience was comfortable

Hailey is a rock star! She was friendly, professional, and efficient. The atmosphere is full of happy patrons. There's lots of seating options. Indoor, bar, and patio deck by the water. The menu is plentiful and lots of good surf and turf. We were so excited to get our appetizers which were a dozen raw oysters and a basket of fried perch! Both were phenomenal. I wanted to leave a review because I needed everyone to know how great of a service we received last Friday. We were a party of 25+. From the moment we got there we received the best care by getting us outside seating. Everyone accommodated our every request and kept us happy and we want to thank all the staff, servers, and hostesses that were part of our celebration. It was my mothers birthday and it was our first time all getting together post covid so thanks again for a special day. The food was delicious!

First time here and it was nice. Lunch. Not fancy but a good place to have a meal. Not overpriced and no fluff. We had shrimp tacos, delicious. Grilled sea bass sandwich was to die for I hope they have this for dinner too as I could have skipped the bun. Plenty of parking when we arrived but I can also see that on a busy night it could be crazy. Our server Gina was attentive and recommended the sea bass sandwich. I will say the hostess could have been more engaged or friendly as that is usually the first impression a restaurant gives but hell nowadays restaurants are lucky to get anyone

You won't pull one over on this crab eater. Mike's, thank you for not hiking the price up for post pandemic inflation, but a heads up that you're changing your crab cake meat would be nice. If you spend time cleaning and eating crabs you can tell the difference between jumbo lump and claw. Clear taste and quality difference, but I guess y'all did what you had to do for the community. Not too annoyed because the taste was good, just not paying $36 plus $2 for online ordering for claw again. I'll be back when jumbo lump is back.

What can I say??? This place was crowded and the wait time wasn't bad(30mins). We didn't get the crabs which they are known for, they were out temporarily when we were seated. Judging from everyone eating the crabs they were huge and looked very delicious!!!! Now on to what we had...I ordered the seafood supreme, which came with about 5 shrimp and a few scallops in a cheese sauce for $32 bucks????? can you say overpriced for a small portion?!!! My wife ordered stuffed flounder which she enjoyed, nice size portion but again can you say overpriced $29????!!!!!!! The little one had a kids

I would call this a 4.5 star review. As you can see from my picture the food and the view are both awesome. In the summer we go to Mike's about once every three weeks. The service is always good. The crabs are usually on the heavy side. I never feel like I paid for larges and was served some mediums. I can personally recommend the cream of crab soup. They have a delicious assortment of adult beverages made from real freshly squeezed fruit. So why the -0.5 star. This is not the first time we went there on a Sunday and they were out of something. Had a great time on a recent Monday eating crabs and drinking beer out on the deck of Mikes. I'm sure there's a long wait for a table on the weekends, but we walked right in and got a table near the water at 2pm. It was perfect, as we were also under cover in the shade. Mikes has plenty of ceiling fans outdoors to keep the air moving.
The service was very good, although we had a bit of a wait for our dozen crabs. I understood they steamed them in batches, the reason for the 15 - 20 minute wait. Plenty of cold beer on tap. Out of Yuengling? That's ok, Devils Backbone, Vienna

Perfect sunny day and my love surprises with me a Mikes outing. It was a honey get dressed we going out moment . The hush puppies were great - fried clam strips were decent and the crabs were actually perfect. A dozen large fairly heavy crabs ran us about $85.00. We filled the crabs in with beer and wine and enjoyed our time. The wait time was 2 hours with no reservations being accepted. If you want to sit outside it's 3 hours of sitting on the premises waiting for a table . They stress that you cannot leave or you lose your place in line. Most people sat in the cars or stroll next door

This is a down home, seafood restaurant... nothin fancy. The food was actually quite tasty (4 stars); however, I was disappointed to find that my "grilled" soft shell crab was actually battered and fried. When inquiring about why my crab was fried, the waiter insisted it was grilled...okay! The food was well seasoned.

View- beautiful as the restaurant sits on a body of water. Couldn't enjoy it due to the frigid temperatures, but I imagine it's a pleasant escape during the warmer months.

I always LOVE to go to Mike's for lunch when I'm in the Annapolis area!! This is my 4th visit, the food and services is always excellent !!
Mike's has in-door and out-door dining with social distancing in place. We had a 15 minute wait, they took our phone number, we were able to walk and enjoy the outside scenery while waiting. We received our notification that our table was ready via message.
McKenzie, our waitress, was every friendly, attentive and provided us with excellent in-door dining service ! Thank you McKenzie for making our dining experience a great one.

Came on a 90+ degree Saturday afternoon. Mike's was packed! Dining was a hour and 45 minute wait! The great thing about Mike's is there's plenty of outside seating if you're not eating or having a drink while waiting.
Order your drinks at an outside bar and find a seat. Plenty of chairs and stools in the shade. Drinks are strong and yummy. I highly recommend the Crushes. Some of the best I've had! Pina Colada was also yummy. Premade but great nonetheless.
