Been coming here for years now. I always receive great care and great customer service. The staff and Dr. Nuccio always make me feel welcomed and make sure to address any questions or concerns I have. Quality of frames are great. The lenses are very good too I've gone to places before where my lenses would scratch very easily or the "protective" coating would begin to scratch of but not here. Always happy with the look and durability of my glasses.

I had booked an appointment with them about a month, or so ago. I had forgotten to leave a review only writing it now, due to the fact that I am still in awe on how unprofessional they handled my situation. Booked the appointment to make sure my prescription will be up to date , and I am in desperate need of new glasses for work and personal daily use.
I have had great experience with then in the past have only been with them for a year or less if that, and had spent hundreds of dollars in contact lenses (6 month) supply. My issues lies with whomever booked or (double booked) my appointment because

This office is wonderful, plus or minus one. Lol. Andrew Is a gem! So wonderful, helpful, & caring. Has always stayed the same since the first day I met him. Susan is great with glasses & helping you through the process of picking out that perfect pair. Dr. Nuccio is wonderful, kind & caring. He has diagnosed some eye problems I had & sent me the way of a specialist/surgeon that was needed. He cares about our sight & is the best out there with the utmost equipment. It is a wonderful office with a great staff! I would highly recommend this office to any age as they are

My sister and I we were going to see Dr Nuccio for the last 5 years, he is a good doctor, I was happy with him; but the people working with him are not very professional, there is a blond lady probably related to the dr, who is worst that a car dealer sales person, since the first time, I refused to get my frames and glasses with them, to pushy, the second year I went to get my eyes checked Dr Nuccio asked me where I got my glasses, and I told him I got them at Costco, he put Costco down on the quality of their product, I thought this was very unprofessional..... my sister didn't want to go

I scheduled a new patient appointment with Dr Nuccio based off of all the great reviews I read here on Yelp. In my visit Dr Nuccio was very kind, seemed very knowledgeable, and I loved the staff. After my eye exam I was shown some frames. I picked a pair out, signed, paid, and it seemed like I had found a new office I was going to be extremely happy with. It took a little over a month for my glasses to come in. When I got the call that they were ready, I went down to the office and sadly found out they had ordered the wrong frames. The staff encouraged me to try them out for a week, and so I did

I would say the process was very organized along with a friendly staff! I was greeted by Jason whom remained professional during the whole visit. Needless to say I was impressed and comfortable while being a first time visitor. Even the Dr. was down to earth and very humble with a great sense of humor. I do believe I've found my new Optometric Center not only for myself but for the whole family!

Never have I ever loved an office staff more than I love this one. I have been going to Stanislaus Optometric for years and years and years. Until my kids went off to college, they also went to Dr Nucio's office. I have always felt like I was the most important person in their office. They are professional, courteous, considerate and have done everything to make sure that I am happy. Not only do they make me feel important, they also make me feel like family.

Never made it inside. Sign on door said OPEN. Big chain fence on the inside said CLOSED. Said closed for lunch on a hand written paper taped to the glass but it was only 11, and the note mentioned 12 to 1.
Phone rang and rang, then transferred to someone's mailbox without a title or last name.
If things are this confusing I'll order online direct from the insurance. Don't hurt yourself getting up to work on a Thursday on our behalf.
Management wrote a decent and understandable reply so I stopped in today (1/12/21) with a prescription in hand hoping to pick some frames and order lenses. Was approached

I went for an eye exam and new frames. The place is rather small and fhey have a limited amount of frames avalible, the area they have for looking at frames is rather cramped it can be difficult to look around when other people are there. The total amount of time i spent there was TWO HOURS and twenty minutes, most of my time was spent waiting. Mind you it wasnt busy at all. The people there were friendly enough but the whole experience made me appriciate stanislaus vision associates more

Every person in this office who I interacted with was very nice. Niceness does not make up for all of the frustration here, however. Please be aware that you will be charged for an additional exam that is not covered by insurance. I have never had this issue with any other office and have always previously been charged the copayment amount set by our VSP insurance. When I scheduled the appointment, I made it very clear that I would only have 1 hour of time available before needing to return to work. Over 90 mins later after finally seeing the dr, I was informed of the additional charge and given

His staff are by far the most friendliest I have met ! My exam was quick, Dr took the time to go over my contact options (first timer) and gave me a 7 day complimentary set to try out !
Griselda was sooo patient with me! I am so indecisive with glasses and sunglasses to get and they have soo many options to choose from! She stuck with me the whole time, gave me honest opinions and we got through it. She then took the time to show me how to put on and remove the contacts

Dr. Nuccio is a honest, personable and knowledgeable doctor. I feel very comfortable with him, and feel like I've known him for years! He spends time with you and is very frank in his opinions. He isn't there to sell you something you don't need. I love his staff, too. Everyone is so friendly, and his office is beautiful! The receptionist went out of her way to accommodate me for an appointment. I appreciate that! I'm thankful I found Dr. Nuccio, and I'll keep referring my friends to him!

I'm torn with this review because there are pros and cons:
Pros:
Dr. Nuccio is great! He is patient and friendly when asked questions.
The glasses are all very nice and cute.
Very clean office.
Cons:
The wait is unbearable for the wait room and even worse for the eye exam room. I have been there 4 times and have had to wait over an hour, once even going to the receptionist and asking how much longer.
The glasses are all mainly name brand and are very expensive.
The staff can at times be very pushy and rude, not patient when trying on glasses. They tried helping me when I'm looking,
