Move elsewhere. You can expect poor maintenance, roaches in spite of keeping a clean home, foundation problems in every building (cracks up the wall) which cause doors to stick or not close properly and poor seals around the door frame, drafty windows which develop mold with condensation, frequent plumbing issues, tap water that intermittently smells of sulphur/ sewage, poor grounds keeping (trash and stains everywhere), thin walls wherein you can hear every footstep your neighbors take -- only to have the rent raised each year at renewal.

The staff is pleasant. Maintenance does request in good time. Building 11 used to be quiet until loud people moved into apt 1127 its either loud music playing all times of the night or domestic disturbance going on. Fighting at 2 or 3am with a man kicking the door. If you walk past the door you see the damage from the kicks. People like this is making people want to leave. Management should stop loud people its been reported many times but nothing is done about apt 1127 in building 11. Children should not be playing in the parking lot either

Current Management is horrible. Constant unnecessary harassment they do to tenants. I'm staying here over 4 years. Since this management came, they have made my families life hell. I'm considering filling civil lawsuit against this management. My kids and my wife going through lot of mental stress and trauma. When I went to lease office today manager threaten saying quote "You will see what I will do to people like you". I'm worried about my safety staying here. when I requested manager name and details so I can share that info to my lawyer, they are not replying my emails. I'm scared to go visit

Painting contractors are spraying in 20+ mph winds. No care whatsoever. Everyone check your cars. We got overspray in the residential neighborhood behind the complex. I will be posting on Nextdoor to notify everyone to look out for overspray. I’ve got video of them wrecklessly spraying in the wind. Negligence is a good term. I hope that contractor is insured.

I have recently visited my friend at these apartments. Although they look incredible, they sure did offer very little help when it came to replacing her personal belongings. Although she did have renters insurance to cover her flood damage, all they supplied her with in that time was a fan to leave running in attempt to dry it out. I have lived in many apartments, but this one in particular has a real nerve. In cases like this, they were able to save the apartment but not save the renter. The effort management has put into taking care of her and possible others there is absolutely ridiculous. I

So all these people care about is their money, the management in this apartment does not care about the property nor yours. So there was a water damage that destroyed most of my stuff, I call and it took time for them to come over, when they finally decide to come fix it, the whole thing was almost collapsing, it took them almost a week to pash it, a week later we had a rain and by the time I got home from work my apartment was fill with water. I am so happy I found these apartments, thanks to Shelby at SmartCity Locators! I knew when I toured, this is where I wanted to live! From the very beginning, the office staff, Shamika and Daisy, have been very receptive as well as responsive! My move in went so smoothly and I loved how both of them checked on me during that process. The complex is very nice, well-kept and it’s close to a lot of things, including the 2 major highways. I see myself being here for a while! 😊

Was thinking about moving back to the DFW and moving back to a complex I had enjoyed living in awhile ago. However, after seeing the reviews and knowing it is under a different management company I will definitely be considering other options if transitioning back to DFW becomes a reality. Thank you to everyone for their honest reviews. I especially appreciate the one from the military personnel who was evicted, taken to court, etc. Knowing this, I would not move anywhere that treated our military in this manner.

This review is a plea to all potential people who are considering to stay at this apartment. Please don't do it! The current management is there only to cheat you out of your hard earned money. I lived here for years before Crest took over from Grey Star, the last year I resign I was told they would swap out my carpet and it never happened . I became very ill and was hospitalized and lucky my friends moved me out. I know how have a bill on my credit report since there was most likely a small balance that ballooned from BS fee's. Never once contacted or anything. The Manager would smoke his cigarettes outside and could care less about the people here cleary he doesnt care about himself. SCAM ALERT DO NOT RENT!
There was a good faith agreement to move in after being shown a model because they did not have any available units, outside of the model, for me to view. What I found on move are as follows:
- Laminate flooring is peeling away and sounds like you are walking on tape. This same extremely cheap (and ghetto looking) fake wood laminate was damaged by the fridge during installation and has not been fixed.
- They didn't even have the stove plugged in when I moved in.
- The bath tub is rusted and has a large 3' by 2' green stain that not even scrubbing 5 times

I have lived here for almost 2 years. I haven't had a huge problem with the staff. They sometimes seem preoccupied whenever I go into the office and don't acknowledge me, so the customer service is lacking. The turn over rate has been medium as well. But anytime I have an issue, they usually address it, whether a complaint or an issue with my apartment. I wish I could renew my lease here but I doubt that I'm going to due to a few reasons.

I wish I could have given them negative stars. They are cheaters and unfair. Manager is so rude and completely dishonest and unfair. They tell you something when you go for lease and later on when the situation comes they just cheat you and think you are fool. Since you are under lease , you can not do anything . They try to trick you. Don't trust the management. I am pretty sure I won't come to these apartments. Good luck to anyone who is coming there.

We stayed in the 835 sq.ft 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit on the 3rd floor. Like I said before, things started out okay. My main issues came from having to make frequent maintenance requests. The latches on the bathroom doors were attached with screws that were too short. The water pressure was and continues to be too low. Our front door began having trouble locking, to the point we would only have the door handle lock to secure our apartment. However

We've been living here for 6 months and we had NEVER had a problem with the valet trash (that's when you put your trash outside your door and they come and pick it up for you) UNTIL this last month. There have been several occasions that our trash has sat for DAYS outside our door waiting to be picked up; mind you, you have to pay $15 for someone to come and pick it up, it's not optional. So that not being optional, why is optional for the guys that pick it up to SKIP our apartment? We have talked to the girls in the front office and they've told me it would be taken care of

I don't know how to begin , this place is nice from the outside and the stuff treat you nice at first, but once you moved in everything changes. We been living here 7 month now and there is something breaking everyday and it takes weeks to get fix. Our mail box has been broke its not still fixed a week later, our mail is send back and the office ( Sofia) just told us there is nothing they can do. We don't even know what to do. They change the office stuff almost every week so you have to explain all over again for the new person. jUST frustrating this place is a mess.

This place looks nice on the outside. Staff up front is shady. They specifically have targeted us with different fines, inspections and to the point of towing my car because it had expired inspection. I realize that by law they can tow the car if it is expired...but seriously your own resident who has the car registered with the office? The toilet backs up because outside raw sewage bubbles up from a pipe they tried fixing twice. It's disgusting to see waste run down the street. The foundation is ruined. I've lived here for over a year and I find the staff to be very helpful and nice. They take care of any request that I have promptly. The only time the gates were wide open in my experience was when they were doing the roofing on the buildings. (new shingles) Construction workers had to keep going in and out and it was less than a week last summer. The dumpsters never look like that...I've seen them full but I've never seen them like that, so that I assure you is a rare occurrence. I regret moving here. The place looks beautiful from outside so it gave a great ambience at first. I finally realized that they make you pay for key fobs and alarm activation yet their gates are open all day for everyone. The intrusion alarm wasn't even been activated. People drive and park their cars in the parking lot with loud music...hanging out as if they don't have a job. It's actually a ghetto place.
