Highly recommend Zen! I rarely get my nails done and couldn't believe the service at Zen. The owner did my nails herself and made me feel so comfortable throughout the experience. Affordable, clean, kind employees, and great nail results. Highly recommend Zen Nail & Beauty Bar to anyone.

Absolutely love Zen! I have been coming here for months and I walk away with beautiful nails everytime. They are always prompt with my appointment start times, they have incredible variety of colors and the friendliest service! They go above and beyond to make their customers feel extremely comfortable. The shop is very clean and they take COVID precautions very seriously, which is important to me. I can’t recommend them enough and so happy I found this spot, I will never go anywhere else for my mani/pedis! ❤️

Another outstanding experience at Zen. It's been some time since I treated myself. What a great staff! They were all so nice and accommodating, offering beverages. The mascot LuLu is ever present in her little dresses, snoring away.
Ti-Ho gave me a great (first time) dip manicure. And it looks terrific!! He was also a jokester who kept us all chuckling.
Their payment methods include Venmo, so that's a bonus too!!!

I had such a lovely experience at this salon. The name of this salon is more then just a name it’s a whole vibe. The decor is beautiful and everything is clean and new. I’ve had a few different technicians and they all were great. The last man I had (sorry forgot his name) he was funny and skilled with the dip manicure. The manager is a wonderful human. His name is Todd. He makes everyone feel so welcomed and accommodated. I always enjoy our conversations.

I just moved to the area and was in a crunch to find a place that was open, so after calling about 15 places they finally answered and I went in for my appointment. The place looks pretty and the staff were all very friendly. I was sad to see that their process of the dip powder was not correct as others had mentioned in the reviews. They use a UV light with a gel topcoat and that is incorrect and not how sns is supposed to work. On top of that it was $50. I've been getting my nails done for years and never paid more than $40 for a sns job in my life. Was not sure why it was so expensive considering

One star off for price, paid $50 for a dip manicure- the top coat started chipping off the very next day. Very frustrating, especially with that price point. Dip manicures are supposed to last for at least 3-4 weeks, it's not a good sign that mine were already deteriorating. *sadface*

2 days after my visit for a Callus Control Pedicure I was diagnosed with MRSA which is a staph infection on both feet caused by the lactic peel product.
I was on antibiotics for 10 days and had to clean and change the dressing on both feet 3x per day and go back to the doctor every 48 hours until I finished the antibiotics to make sure it was healing properly. If I was diabetic or was on chemo and I didn't get this taken care of right away I could have seriously needed to have my foot amputated - this is not just bacteria, this is serious.
There is a cross-contamination somewhere in either

I recently moved to Stoneham and have been looking for salons closer to me as I was living in the North Shore. This is not it. I have gone twice for dip and BOTH times the polish has just completely come off! The first time it popped off after a week. This time it popped off after about three days.
The place is clean and the lady who did my pedi both times did a good job but the bench you sit on is awkward. It's not comfortable at all. The nails are seriously lacking. You're taking short cuts by using the gel top coat instead of the dip top coat. Every other place I've gone you

I have been going to Zen since August of last year. Tina does my nails , I usually get a gel manicure. Sometimes I bring in pictures when I want nail art done. Tina does a fabulous job. I have gotten many compliments. Ashley does my pedicures. I find everyone there very nice and very friendly. I would recommend Zen to everyone. The place is very clean and I feel very comfortable there.

I’ve been coming here almost 8 years for eyelash extensions with Tina, and I have never been disappointed. She always does an excellent job and my lashes stay for weeks- hence why I have been such a long time client. Zen has always been a clean and relaxing environment. Todd is gracious will always make you feel welcome when you walk in.

This is the most Amazing Nail and Beauty Bar. I have been going here for years. I have tried other nail salons and there is no comparison. The entire staff is professional and extremely friendly. This place is awesome! I called at 7pm to see if they would take me tonight even though they closed at 8, and they did. They were very courteous and did not seem annoyed like most places would if you came in right before they closed. I have a good number of medical issues that cause me tremendous amounts of pain, they helped relax me and ease it. Definitely made me feel better. They are caring people and you should definitely give them a chance! I got a full set and a pedicure. Will def be coming back.

This isnt my first time there but I wouldn't say I really ever need to go back again. I would say they are clean but my picture tells you they are still lacking in some aspects. I think the handful of times I have been I pretty much not satisfied with my paint jobs.

Overly priced for low quality work. I went there with a party of 4. I got a full set, it looked bulky and thick and she told me its how my nail bed is. Which is not true because it is not the first time getting a full set. They charge about $40-50 i believe because they top it with a gel finish.
I asked her to cut my cuticles she said they don't do that anymore; I asked if i can get mine cut she said i would have to tell them in advanced and it will be a couple dollars more... like what? Ridiculous.
In 4 days my nail broke, 2 days later another one and then i just took them all off,

I'm actually pretty surprised at how many great reviews there are. I went last week because of the great reviews, it was close by, and they had Dip powder/SNS. They were nice, but I was double booked and rushed the entire time. She was bouncing back and forth between me and another client! She didn't even cut my cuticles. It was sloppy, uneven, and started chipping off within a couple of days. Sitting at the nail bar was uncomfortable and the granite was freezing directly under my hands (it would have helped if she had even put down a paper towel or something)... and it was $50(!!!).

The reason for my two star is purely the guy at reception he is so rude & unprofessional. I've been to this place few times & he's just doesn't have any customer relations. When I went to check out he disappeared from the store & few people were waiting to check out to pay. Until someone else took over, after bit of confusion as they didn't know how to work the machine.
All in all it's clean, pretty and the girls do excellent job it's expensive.
If there was warmer welcome & exit for their clients then I would consider returning but I'm not paying

After four years, I've returned to Zen with a friend of mine. With a week in advance, I called to schedule an appointment for the both of us to have the same services simultaneously.
As the gentleman understood, he confirmed my request.
At the time of the appointment, my friend arrived nearly 15 minutes early. I'm not sure if there was some confusion between the receptionist and the nail tech, but the original plan was to have our nails done together. My friend was pushed to start before my arrival. That ticked me off.
